Better yesterday

Zener is doing better this morning. I think the fluids really helped so we will continue those today. He likely got dehydrated from spending his days in the cabana. We have water out there and he does drink occasionally but probably not enough. He's still rather wobbly but he can get around. He did a big yard patrol, including a session in the catnip bush. I couldn't see him but I could see the bush shaking. :lol: :lol: We had a little schmooze session and he was purring. Appy is good, too.

OT: Tillie has been out to the composter about 5 times this morning. She comes back in for a snack and then goes back out. It is very entertaining for everyone. We get a chuckle out of watching her, too. :lol:

I'm so glad Z is doing better today. Hopefully the continued fluids will help...dehydration is hard to detect sometimes, but it sure can make them feel crummy.

This condo makes my heart much happier. Glad to hear that Zener is feeling better and being schmoozy!!!! Good boy! cat_pet_icon And love to hear that Tillie is on a mission...to rid the world (or at least your yard) of mice!!! When she's done there, send her on over...we've got a few out at the barn. (although, pretty sure we are minus one now...dead rat smell all last week....ewwwwww!) Hope you all have a wonderful schmooze-filled day!

Looks like day 2 of subQ fluids is bringing his numbers down. :shock: :mrgreen:

We may need to be a little slow in giving his PM shot to make sure appy is happy since he appears to be in an all-day slide. Crazy cat!

When we first started giving Trix fluids, she was still OnTJ...we found out quickly that we needed to separate the locations - fluids in the shoulder, insulin in the flank - otherwise, she would plummet into scary numbers.

I hope Z continues to feel better and better!

I'm so glad to read good news about Zener, after reading so many sad condos today. It's amazing the difference fluids can make. Keep up the good work, Z-man. Sending you many healing vines.

Yay for Tillie and her taking her responsibilities as chief rodent control officer so seriously! I think you need to video her at it!
