We have not posted in awhile. Tarragon had issues over the weekend. We tested Sat before his PM shot and he was at 180. We went to some friends and when we got home 5 hours later he was unconscious and at 22. We rushed him to the ER. He was there for 18 hours while they tried to get his BG up with a dextrose drip. He was able to come home last night but is not doing well.

We have made an appt to let him go this afternoon. Our hearts are broken but we know it is the right thing to do for him. We would appreciate any prayers as our lil T makes his journey to the rainbow bridge where his sister, Turnup, will be waiting for him with countless friends he has made over the last 7 years on FDMB.

Melissa, I am so very sorry that it is Tarragon's time! Sending prayers and vines for comfort and strength to get you and your family through this and for a peaceful passing for sweet T.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

((Melissa)) I'm so very sorry to hear. Sending loads of vines, prayers and :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:for you all. Please give Tarragon and extra kiss for me. Fly free sweet boy, land softly...your sister and so many others are ready to play with you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Such a heart-breaker for me, and many of us old timers here on FDMB. I am so very sorry Melissa. There simply are not words... You will remain forever in my heart Mr T. Fly free, and land softly at the Bridge. Mannie, and so many others, will be there waiting for you. :rb_icon:

For Tarragon... may you always feel the grass at your feet, the sun on your fur, the joy of trees and the comfort of rainbows over your head. Fly free, land softly. Forever in our hearts.

Melissa:bighug::bighug::bighug:So sad and sorry to hear about your sweet boy. So many nice memories of Tarragon during our time here, it's hard to find the words. Sending lots of love, prayers and comfort vines for you, Brian and Charlie. Rest in peace sweet Tarragon. You are loved and will be so missed.

HUGS and hugs and thoughts and prayers and more Hugs....BIG HUGE loooooooooong ones. Remember - he's not 'gone', you just have to hug him differently.

Soar high on your new angel wings sweet OkieT - landing softly back in your family's broken hearts.

More hugs....

Thank you all. We leave for the appt soon. Tarragon has perked up somewhat but still not using his back legs. We are going to have the dr look him over and see if there is any shot at improving before we make the final decision.

Oh no, our hearts are breaking for you all. We send special hugs to Charlie, we know it will be extra hard for him. We ache all over again when one of our old timers crosses the bridge. Mr T was our role model for green. You were such wonderful beans and are giving the last and greatest gift. He knows you love him and is so grateful for the loving care you have given him for so long. We will be thinking of you today and in the coming days, weeks, and months as you adjust to your new normal. Zener is waiting to greet Mr T, he always wanted to meet the green machine.

I think Champ's circle of friends from the old days will be down to zero if Tarragon goes today. You and I joined FDMB just a few weeks apart and learned this dance together. I've loved your animals like my own, especially Mr. T, and it hurts like hell when it's their turn to go. I'll always be grateful for this adventure, though, because I got to meet you (and Mason). You've become very dear to me and I consider you one of my best friends. You and Brian, and Mason too, took such great care of Tarragon. I loved the morning coffee pictures with Brian. I loved to see Mr. T. sitting on Mason's chest when he lies down on the couch. He has the most awesome face and I'll remember him always. I hope the vet has hopeful news for you. I'll be praying and hoping, hoping and praying. Love you all.

Melissa --

I know how hard this decision is. Please see if your vet will check Tarragon's electrolytes. A hypo can throw them off and if there is a possibility of getting the regulated, it may have a significant effect. We're standing with you no matter what your decision.

Dear (((Melissa & Brian)))

We are so very sorry that Mr. T's time may have come to fly free. We have known and loved him for so many years.
Thinking of you and sending beautiful vines for Tarragon. If it is indeed his time to begin a new adventure, we pray for his peaceful crossing. So many old pals, and his sister Turnup, will be there to give him a big welcome at the Bridge.

(((Melissa, Brian, Mason, and Charlie)))

And esp Lil T....tons of vines, prayers, snowflakes, and white light.

Looking at the labs you sent me, his potassium is really low and could account for his back leg weakness and low heart rate. I hope your vet can give you some good insight if Tarragon has perked up a bit.

We are all here for you all. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm so very sorry, Melissa. Our hearts are broken with yours. Take comfort in knowing that he is in good company with all of his L&LL family along with Turnup, and until you can be together again, he will live on in your heart. So many hugs and prayers to you, Brian, Mason, and Charlie....

Oh Melissa.....I am so very, very sorry because Lil T was such a special guy. Like Patty, I will always remember photos of him sitting with Brian over coffee and newspapers.

It's the hardest thing we do when we love so much but the depth of your love is shown by setting him free when he was ready.

Gentle journey, Lil T. We all love you and you will be greatly missed.

{{{Melissa}}}

My heart aches for you, Brian, Mason and Charlie. The gift you have given your sweet Tarragon is priceless, although I know how dearly it cost you. I hope the love and support from your L&L Land family will give you strength and comfort through the difficult days ahead. Know that we are all here for you.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Fly free, dear T, and land softly. :rb_icon:

(((Melissa, Brian, Mason, Charlie))) My heart is breaking for you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: I will always remember the stories of Mr. T and his love for all the members of his family.

Fly free and land softly Tarragon. Crowds of our GAs will be there to greet you, including my two black and whites.

(((((Melissa & Brian)))))

I always feel so helpless at times like this. Tarragon has been a fixture. While Gabby and I arrived before you, there are always kitties who stick in your heart and in your memory due to their big personalities. T was one of those kitties.

Fly free little one and land softly. Give Gabby a head butt for me. You will be missed by many.

(((Melissa, Brian, Mason, Charlie))),
Your handsome boy is flying free to join his many old friends. The Bridge Kitchen will be rockin' tonight with a welcome dinner prepared by the old crew: Chefs Mannie and Stu, Pastry Chef Tess, and Sushi Chef Neko. We'll miss you, Mr. T. Send your beans and Charlie a sign that you arrived safely. You are much loved. cat_wings>o

In deepest sympathy and loving remembrance,

Ella & Edward, Rusty, and Stu (GA)

Dearest Melissa, I am so very sorry to be reading this about Tarragon. Wow! He would have been 17 years old next month. That longevity is a tribute to the great care and loving you gave your baby.

Fly high, Land softly dear Tarragon. cat_wings>o

Sending hugs and healing vines of comfort. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
