I assume there is no way to reply to a post from a different thread. Earlier I learned that "...some cats never stop bouncing,..." On this note, what about the other direction?

If you can get a cat to nadir at say, 50-150, can you expect this to be dependable and not go lower, going forward? Let's assume the situation is as controled as possible, no change in: diet, dose, exercise, stress level, sleep, etc.

Not sure what you're asking there in the 2nd question. It sounds like you're talking about a well-regulated diabetic feline, or perhaps a tightly regulated diabetic feline where the BG doesn't change much and is fairly stable.

However, you never know when the pancreas will decide to heal a little and maybe chip in some insulin and then boom, kitty goes lower than you expected.

He hasn’t been testing, Dyana. He had problems with the Libre and he’s trying to learn to hometest but I’m concerned because it should not be taking this long and, in the meantime, he’s shooting blind. Not a good way to handle Lantus.
