Good morning, LL :-D
Ripley is doing great today.
We are going to try for another vetty visit this afternoon. Yesterday I put her in her carrier and she urinated immediately; it's challenging for the vet to get a urine sample from an empty bladder... Hopefully today will be a little easier for Ripples; she seemed to need time to recover from yesterday's incident.

Thank you for the visits last night, Kat, Pam, and Michelle! :-D :-D :-D
Sending vines to those in need today.

Re: 7/24 Ripley AMPS 104

Morning Josie, sending good Vetty vines for Ripley today and paws crossed for a urine sample. Glad Ripples has recovered with some rocker time. Know how she loves that rocker. :-D Have a nice day.

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

Looking good this morning Ripley. I love your SS! So full of wodnerful numbers. keep them coming.

Good luck with the vetty, and getting the sample. That so reminded me of Mannie: he would always do his business before we got there, often in is carrier, or all over the vet when they went to take him to get the sample. no way would be give them a pee sample.  It was such a challenge with him. I can remember cringing any time they said we need a pee sample. oh sure.....  Wishing oyu much luck today!

Enjoy your day too. I hope all goes well.

Looking good again Rippers  And good luck with the vetty visit today. Hopefully today she won't need a bath before you go...poor thing.
Thank goodness for rockers :-D Have a great day today Josie ;-)

Getting ready to leave for the vetty in a few mins for a urinalysis... Paws crossed they'll be able to draw some urine. If she does have a UTI, she's asymptomatic ~ just want to see if anything's a-brewing...

Hi, Ann :-D Thanks for the vetty vines; hopefully it won't be a repeat of yesterday, but I also hope I don't have to leave her there until her bladder refills... She sure does love that rocker!

Hi, Michelle :-D Oh, sweet Mannie not giving up a urine sample; I can picture him going over to the door and saying "Can we go NOW, mom?" And thanks on the SS compliment; I'm so proud of my Ripples, with all of her blues and greens :-D .

Hi, Pam :-D Thanks for checking in and wishing us luck at the vetty; I already have a feeling it's going to go a little easier than yesterday.

Yippee! There was urine drawn!
(There was also some urine in her carrier (again!), but I don't know if that happened while en route to the vet, at the vet, or on the way home.)

Funny conversation heard in the waiting area at the vet, as a new girl was being trained:
"...And you can look up a quick record of the clients' most recent visits on the computer... For example, Ripley was last seen in June, before that in May, April, March, twice in February... Ripley's a regular. She's a special baby. She deserves her own parking spot..."

I hope you were able to get Ripley to the vet and they were able to get a pee sample. Nice numbers today.

Re: 7/24 Ripley AMPS 104, +9 86

Hi Josie. Glad the vet was able to get a urine sample. Hope all is normal. How great of the vet folks to recognize Ripley's nice disposition and I hope they follow up with the personalized parking space.

Nice numbers today also. Have a great evening Josie.

Re: 7/24 Ripley PMPS 128

Hi, Carla, John, and Amy :-D :-D :-D Thanks so much for stopping by tonight!

Ripley had her T/F/S/F (that last "F" = fluids); as I was giving her fluids, I noticed the dish towel she was standing on while eating (she's quite the little piggy and tends to get food everywhere) was a little damp. I had managed to insert the fluids needle in a way that caused a tiny amount to come out the other side ohmygod_smile . Not a full poke-through, but just enough for a few drops to run down her front leg and onto the towel. Oops. Most of the 100mls got in, though. That's what happens when discussing my day's events with DH while administering fluids.

Hi Josie!
Yay for the successful urine collection!
Paws crossed for good results.
And nice numbers too!

Very funny about the conversation you heard at the vet.

Woo hoo, way to pee in the cup Ripley!

And congrats on getting your own parking space. Our vet said something like that to us on one of our "regular" visits.
