Yesterday

Last night was a nice gradual drop to green, and the little low-carb snack at +6ish before bed seems to have made sure she didn't go to any bounce-inducing places. She was extra purry and snuggly early this morning so it was hard to get up! I hope everyone has good but safe numbers today

I guess we both have the bed hogs :lol: all 4 come to bed Lucky has 1 corner so does Taz, Foxy and Kalohe along each side of me,glad we have nice cool nights because we don't have AC on the coast. Lucky comes and Licks me ad sits on my chest and he is now 18lbs was 22 if you roll over he puts his feet in your ribs and still licks you even if it's a shoulder, but he knows he has me when he gets my lips :lol: :lol: :lol: Looks like Papaya is liking some greens :smile:

Thanks for visiting, Mary! Happily we're having another nice green PM nadir without any crazy dives. I can't believe how much difference going to slightly higher carb (9%) food has made with Papaya. I figured if low carb was good, lower carb was better, but I guess with her that isn't the case. Every time I test I'm holding my breath and it is amazing to keep seeing good numbers!

It sounds like you will have no problem with covers sliding off your bed, Linda! I've never had a cat lick my lips but the one that used to sit on my chest while I was asleep once woke me up by gently licking my eyelid. That was a really weird sensation! Ooof, 18 lbs is quite a weight to sit on your chest! Cozy in winter but not so much in summer!

Papaya's looking GREAT lately. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Her SS looks so much better the last little while. Is that since the extra food to slow her diving?

Hi Wendy! Yeah, it's like I have a different cat here since I changed to Friskies pate, 7 - 9% carbs, instead of 4% carbs Fancy Feast. She's actually getting a bit less food overall, since she's gained more weight than she needed to, but it's higher carb. I started doing that on 7/7 and took a reduction on 7/14, and together it seems to have been just right. If she keeps at these numbers I won't be surprised to see another reduction. Gotta love the fact that the food that is working better for her is half the price, too!

The funnels stayed out of town so far, and my area barely even got rain despite predictions of thunderstorms, but last time my parents were driving home from a visit here they only realized when the arrived in Roblin that they'd been very much in the vicinity of a confirmed touchdown. Quite the weather this year.
