I'm getting suspicious of the new cartridge I started two days ago. She started that morning at 69 and has only seen high green once since then. I don't like this drift upwards in her numbers. That "new" cartridge was from an old pack I had around. I bought fresh juice today and will try it tonight. If that doesn't work then an increase is coming next.

Neko's been a happy girl. She really likes her new memory foam bed. When she's settled in there and night I get a lot of purrs from her. It's a doggy bed so plenty of room for her to stretch out.

Sorry for being MIA yesterday. I busted DM out of the hospital (pelvis broken in two places a week ago) and took her on the ferry home. I got her set up with a walker and aids for home, did laundry (it's downstairs and stairs are out for a while), and some shopping. Thank goodness DH was home and could take care of the kitties.

Sending hugs to Mariko (Lucy) and Wendy (Tiggy) and vines to all kitties and beans in need.

I'm so glad your DM is safely at home. Now you can breathe better!! Neko kept you from worry yesterday but it's time to come down now.

So glad to hear your mom is back home and safe and sound! I bet that was stressful for you - hugs! :YMHUG: Good girl Neko for behaving while mom bean was away and so nice that your DH can man the fort while you are away, you're very lucky!

Glad to hear Neko likes that new bed too, nice and comfy!

I'm glad to read that you were able to spring your mom from the hospital. I'm sure she's feeling better now that she's out, and I'm sure it's a weight lifted off your mind as well. I hope her recovery is speedy and uneventful.

Good luck with the new cartridge. Neko, I'm pretty sure I saw a dosecrease threat! Time to bring it down a little bit.

Somehow I missed the news about your DM's injury. I'm so sorry, but I'm glad she is out of the hospital. One always feels better at home. I hope her recovery is fast and uneventful. Sending many healing vines for her.

Neko, did you hear your mamabean say the "D" word? What are you going to do about that???

Yay for DM getting home! :-D :-D I'm sure everyone is relieved. Many vines for her recovery. Uh, Neko, no one is thrilled with those numbers. Your mama is getting twitchy...

Another day without green makes for a grump bean. Neko doesn't care - she went out for 1/2 hour after +1 dinner. Probably going after moths again.

@Elise, Ruth, Jen, Tricia, Liz - Thanks for stopping in. When I asked DM today how she felt, she replied "not much different than before going to the hospital". But the walker does help her getting around and is probably better for her longer term rehabilitation than skooting around on a a wheeled chair. :roll: And it's much better knowing why she was hurting. As for Neko, I may get an idea by her +9 check whether the cartridge is making any difference.
 
Memory foam bed? Zener wants one! And is there a bean size one for night duty? :lol:

I'm glad your DM got to go home. I'm sure she'll be happier there. Continuing to send prayers for her. I hope you see some green soon. It could be the new "old" cartridge. That's great Neko likes her new bed.
 
I am glad that you were able to bring your mom home. She will recover better at home. Neko didn't want you to worry when you were helping mom get settled.
