One more day!! :nailbiting:

@Suzanne & Darcy yes it goes in about a tablespoon of baby food. I'm sure it's grainy and dry and tastes terrible, but he's been tolerating it at least. It's supposed to be given q8 but I just can't manage that each day with everything else. I've mostly been doing a 500mg tablet q12, in the hopes that he gets the 750-1000mg total between what's stuck in syringe and spit out.

We did read that Rutin/low fat diet combo takes about 2-3 weeks to really show improvement, and he's a pretty severe case. So we have two more chest taps scheduled, and are just really hoping by that last one he has significant improvement in volume of fluid.

Well, I just want you to know that I really care so much about what happens to Mr. Kitty! I have to keep checking in! I’m in your corner! I have such great hope for a successful outcome, especially now when I feel like things are looking up for him (slowly). Will your mother-in-law be able to come now that y’all are feeling better?

Thank you :bighug::bighug: It helps a lot to have people here for support!

DH and my daughter actually got hit by a second round late yesterday, like it never fully went away. We're going to give it a week after feeling good, a family member is due with a baby any day now and we're not risking anything.

I'll catch a break eventually lol it's been more good news than bad so I'm thankful for that.
