She is being high now.

I'm thinking of changing vets. I get a hassle every time I run out of the syringes and need a refill. I was forced to schedule an appointment for $170.00 for checkup, vaccine, and fructosamine test. If she needs a vaccine though, that is fine, but they refuse to call in the refills unless I schedule the appointment. So, do they not want me to give her the insulin? I don't like taking her in unless she has a problem. All the vets will probably be the same, but this one is kind of far from my house, so I might as well start going to the one that is closer to my house. I don't think Miss Kitty cares, she will probably appreciate the shorter car ride.

I hope Miss Kitty is coming down nicely today.

I normally have my vet write me out the prescriptions and then I go buy the meds. either from a pharmacy or online.
Sometimes, if it's too inconvenient for me, or I need the meds. in a hurry, I just have them fill the prescription at the vet's office. I don't think your vet should make you have an appointment just to get refills. He knows your cat is diabetic. And, if you are home testing, you don't need fructosamine tests.
