AIyee - another pink morning for Mannie - a 329 @ amps. He seems to have had a decent night last, appears to have surfed the yellows during the evening. Not too bad actually - it was nice to see yellows yesterday after a green day before. All to often in the past a green day meant a solid pink day the ext. Coming along just fine Mannie - keep up the good work! cat_pet_icon Looking for a steady day today, a blue one would be nice....

Busy boy during the night hours - I woke up to catnip toys scattered about: all slobbery wet, and chewed and rolled in - just thrown about. He must have had some fun while the rest of us where sleeping. Mannie could hear the stray outside this morning - and has spent every waking moment glued to the screened window, which is open, listening, sniffing, on high alert, looking of the intruder. Cop cat needs to secure the perimeter. Breffis #1, ans #2 c eaten, he is ready to go. Very cuddly, affectionate this morning, and very active.

Well best get this day going... more yard work - nasty! But first a walk to the shore, with a return trip via the local coffee shop. Nice morning start. Have a great day everyone!

Glad Mannie seems to be a happy kitty! Enjoy your Saturday! It must be nice to live where you can walk to the shore...I supposed technically I could do, but its a few miles away, and I'm not that motivated :smile:

hi Emma - I am fortunate that it is close - about 1.7 miles to get there, but worth the walk: through the woods to the shore.

Great WCR!

I can walk out my front door at be at one of the boat slips for the lake. The Lake (Lake Michigan) is 2 blocks from me and the Chicago River is at the end of my block. I suspect it's a bit more urban than where you're at.

Great WCR, Michelle. :smile: I'm glad to hear Mannie can keep himself amused in the middle of the night; I imagine a slobbery cat toy deposited in your face wouldn't be the best way to wake up. :lol: Hope Mannie sees some blue today; it's a nice day for surfing. Your walk to the shore sounds lovely!

OMG Sienne - I know exactly where you are. Walked that area many times when we vacationed there. One of the things that I really loved about Chicago was the river, and the proximity of Lake Michigan, and how close they are to one another (well duh). Fabulous! I always thought it was so cool that you can have a beach/lake , as extensive and nice as it is, so close to such a major city. LUCKY!!! but yes, we are very residential. I am fortunate in that I live close to the shore, by a county park where they have built trails with one of the few access point to the water. It is a great place to go and unwind.

Thanks Ele, and Iorwen - as do I. He was in rare form this morning - he planted himself next to that window, sniffed and sniffed and sniffed.... must have been scents coming through that window...

Hi Sarah! Those cats toys are his (and only his - he won't let the others touch them): they are small canvas bags filled with nip. He just chews and chews - what a slobbery mess... euuww! and everywhere this morning. You'd think he'd be stoned out of his gourd. HAHA: maybe that explains the window stare - he was bombed.... :lol: :lol:

Buzz! YES!! Please come - it will be fun, even if we have to work. Maybe we can get Stu to lets us swim at the lake for a while too... See you there! and thanks for the cat-sol. ~~ Mannie

Purrcie and Mannie are doing the same pink thing. I think they texted each other this AM and decided to wear the same color. Bad Kitties!

Purrcie told me that Mannie has a really nice cop cat uniform! And a matching hat! He's hoping maybe Mannie will make him a deputy. :lol:

It's a good thing my kidz have the new "IPAWD" and the new "Kitty Kindle"! I've been keeping an eye on "all" the texts going back an forth :-D
I have a teenage daughter that's been wanting to hang out with some of these good looking boyz ohmygod_smile So, if ya need any info I'm the mom bean

I give props the beans who kidz clean! I have an 18 who had a 2 day party while I was gone...yep, I'm thinking the cats
did a better job :lol:

Hey Mannie, thanks for helping me clean up the place. It didn't really need it (we are very tidy, we cats!), but it was a good excuse to hang out while we started our day in PINK! You had good sliding numbers all day, but then there is PMPS. Oh well, it was a good day. Let's surf BLUE tomorrow, OK? And we have menu planning for the Full Thunder Moon Party. I'm thinking we ought to do something thunderous: like, maybe, bison meat canonballs. I'm going to see if Spotty can do spices for that. What do you say that we do the tuna souffle again, now that we've perfected it? And maybe some grilled shrimp?
Later, man! Bring down those numbers again! No Bounce!!!

Hi Michelle, Another nice walk for you this morning. Sounds like a great route. We walk to and then racewalk around a small pond for exercise almost every day when we don't have another activity planned. Gotta keep moving!!

STU! DUDE! you totally rock! true on the cleaning - it was so fun just to hang out. I KNOW on the pink - I hate it - but hey - turned the tables on my bean and dropped 140 since pmps, so hey - I'm aiming for BLUE tonight! YES!!!! on the bison thing - thunderous idea! so text spotty and make sure there are the right spices!! and yes on the tuna souffle - perfected it is. Everyone loved the grilled shrimp from the last party -so yay! I get to grill again! We have better make sure that Tess has some of that dried salmon stuff too. YAY - we are all set!

156 @ +3, and fed small tsp MC, hopefully to slow the drop. will retest in an hour.

hear ya on the pink! we were there at pmps - and in true Mannie fashion we are diving and down to a 99. no complaints on the green, but I am soooooo tired, and want to go to bed. :shock: guess i wait a little longer to make sure: no more drops... just a steady surf... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

maybe Mannie will have to deputize Doodles too - pink just won't cut it with those uniforms. :lol: :lol:

sure has been a bouncy day for Mannie - back to being a rainbow kitty! at least he didn't hit red. (anti-jinx!)

I hope you get to go to bed soon, Michelle! I hear you on that front; I am wiped out as well and dreaming of my bed, but I'm only just now at +4 in a few minutes. Ugh. Mannie, be nice and surf so your bean can go to bed, ok? :smile:
 
109 @ +6.2 - think I am done here for the night - we seem to be on the rise, or a nice surf at least. I have left food out - he will eat if he needs to.

Hi Sarah - a couple of night owls here. I hope Buzz will let you find your pillow soon. I am trusting Mannie to be good - will try to check him in a couple, but I always miss those alarms....... nailbite_smile
