Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means....They are running around saying wacky wacky wacky. They is so weird. They is dressed really weird too. Maybe that is all they will do today: say wacky and dress really funny.... Silly kitties. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with mint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Mine was busy, but it was a good busy. Nicholas survived the dentist, more or less, Seattle was a good visit, and I finally got my hair cut. I can see again! :lol: :lol: Here is what I wrote in last night's post about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. it's been a busy one here today. I had a nice time with Erin, Nicholas and William this morning. Nicholas had a dentist appt, so I watched William while mom took DGS to the dentist. I guess he did ok there, but no way did he want anyone to clean his teeth. I hear he put on quite the scene, tears were flowing. :shock: Everything else they did was fine, but no way, no how on the teeth cleaning. oh well, to be expected I think. He is, after all, only 2, and sometimes strangers don't go over well, especially ones that want to mess with his mouth. :lol: He goes back in 6 months for another check up so hopefully things will be better then. Poor kid! ;-) Seattle was a nice time too. It's always good to see friends. The kitties continue to be the kitties. Bug is so laid back. He makes a point of every night once I am done for the day and settled in on the sofa to come and sit with me. We have lots of scritches and pets, and he purrs and purrs and purrs. He will then settle down for a nap on my feet. Quite the cuddler this one. Elsa still is the sole user of the nanners. I have yet to see one of the other play with them. I continue to have no doubt that that is due to Mannie's edict. Bequested to her, hers only. as it should be. Mannie said so. Lola is.... well, Lola. :shock: Yesterday she fetched all the paper out of the waste baskets and what wouldn't bat around she shredded. :lol: :lol: She continues to faucet drink, and then wets her paws to wash her face. She still sits on the top of the frig door, so that when I open it she goes for a ride. She still jumps up 5 feet to the top of the bookcases so she can see out the window. omg.... she is such a treasure. Nothing is scared, nothing beyond her curiosity. As Nicholas would say: "That Lola. She is into EVERY-THING!" Yes little man, that she is. EVERYTHING! :lol: I think I need to take some more photos of them, and some video.

Have a great day everyone. I have Nicholas today, and it is a swim day for us. He was so adamant yesterday about today being a swim day, so swim we shall. I expect that a berry hunt after that will also be requested. The blackberries are starting to ripen! He's been waiting what seems like an eternity for them. :cool: I will try and get to condos when I can. Forgive me if I miss so many of you....

Oh my on the dentist appt. I remember those days. He will get used to it, poor guy. Tears and everything? Trauma to the max.

So sweet on Bug. Tarragon is like that. He waits until everyone has calmed down and then starts the purring and petting and bumping and loving. Lola cracks me up. She is such a doll and adds so much excitement to your house.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) Yes on that dental for DGS. He did well until the cleaning part started: then tears and everything. LOL, but yes, he will get used to it. ;-) A for sure on the trauma to the max. poor kid! poor mom! :lol: oh yes on the kitties. Bug is a real sweetie, picks his time, and then he is all cuddles. Lola is indeed a laugh and a half. Right now she is camped out on my lap as I try and post to condos. One of her quiet moments. :cool: :lol: THX on today - I have no doubt on Nicholas and those berries. He has such an eye for finding them: can see them where I do not. kinda fun! :-D

I'm glad your haircut went better than the dentist visit. Poor little Nicholas. I know he will get used to it but he's such a little trooper about everything, it must have been upsetting to bring tears. Extra hugs and on to the pool for FUN.

Sweet pics of Nicholas, Willam and Erin. I bet nicholas can't wait for the swimming today. I know what you mean by the haircut. I get mine tomorrow, and it's sorely needed. Good thing I can cover my hair with a hat to prevent that sunburn on the scalp. It also hides some bad hair. :lol: Have a wonderful day with Nicholas swimming and an adventure.

Hey Lil Bit,

Those two better not make anymore wacky pizzas. It took me all day to get that honey out of my fur last time. Oh and why did they give me a bag o' feathers? Do you think they are going to try to cover me in honey and feather me? Make me look like a chicken or a bird? I don't know about that this wacky Wednesday stuff. I'm not liking it so far.....

Nice that you have your special nanners to relax on. Me, I have the bean's bed! Now if only I could get her out of it so I can get the whole bed for me! Oh well...she has to get out of it sometime.

That's sweet Bug likes to spend time with you in the evenings. I love hearing about Lola's antics. That's so funny on the paper in the trash. :lol: I hope you had a good swim day and blackberry hunt with Nicholas.
 
Hi, Michelle, can't say I blame Nicholas for feeling sad/scared at the dentist's office. It must be such a strange thing for a Little One. (It's sometimes a strange thing for a Big One, too :oops: :? ) But it's good that he is having the exposure early ~ hopefully the next visit will be easier and less traumatic.

Elsa, Bug, and Lola are charmers in their own unique and special ways. Love them!

Those are such beautiful pictures of the two brothers and their mom. How tenderly Nicholas treats his little bro.

Poor Nicholas--a dental cleaning!! Did they give him a nice new toothbrush?

The kitties are so amusing. They are lucky kitties to have landed with you!

What sweet kitties...such a great mix in your little crowd. Mannie done good...

Hopefully Nicholas will grow to think of the dentist as a good place to be!

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine has been more than busy - Nicholas kept me on my toes for sure! :lol: AND (!!!!) what an afternoon on the freeways.... noting but rear-enders: crash in the hood and the front of the car rear-enders. They were everywhere, one even included a rollover. guys car was upside down. What I enjoyed the most was all the lookie-loos! Sheshhh... they too where everywhere. Though I have to admit that I did look at the rollover... LOL. I swear that with all this 80 degree weather day in and day out people's brains here are fired. What a day to avoid I405.... :shock: :shock: :shock: ;-) What a busy day for Nicholas. We went to the pool in the AM. Seems the he made a friend and spent most of the 2.5 hours playing with this kid, a 7 year old. It is interesting, but he always goes for the older kids. They swam underwater together, did the slides together, ran everywhere in the pool together, under the water dunking buckets together. He has such fun! The energizer FISH was hard at work today. Anyways - lots of fun, but extremely active fun. We did the trails after that, the big blackberries are ripening, so he was in hog heaven. LOL. I was so certain he'd crash when he got home. nope! slept maybe 10 minutes, and then ready for more. So off to this waterfall area that is near his dad's work. That pond is so full of algae.... unreal! So... Nicholas in his infinite wisdom started calling it Algae Pond. LOL! So we christened it, with a snack on the lawn: crackers, strawberries , and some dried blueberries. AWESOME time! I so needed roller blades today. HAHA. A very nice day for the little guy. Tomorrow we do Jack's Pass, the Skykomish and the Beckler Rivers, per his request. YAY! I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrows Loose Lips.

Hi Ella - THX on the photos, and right you are on nicholas. He is, most of the time, very gentle with his little bro. He really does love that little kid. I so know on the dental visit! OMG! But he did get a new toothbrush, and a few high fives, so all is well, and back to normal today. :-D THX so much on the kitties, I appreciate the support. They have filled such a void, and I know Mannie would be very happy, well is very happy. And yes on the berries - LOTS of ripe ones. That was such fun. :-D

Hi Josie - I think so too on the dental visit for kids this young. It's good to get them sued to it, but I am sure he was a little taken back by it all. I too hope the next visit will be easier for him. :-D THX too on Lola and Bug - they are keepers! THX too: evening os good so far. Time to unwind! :cool:

Hi Carla - THX, I love that time with him. He's so affectionate. oh yes on Lola, I had to laugh on the trash paper. She did it again today too, while we were gone. :shock: :roll: :lol: THX on today - we did have a very nice time!

MAUI! GF! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on the wacky pizzas - I tolds them so. they were nasty.... so they were good today. These just acted wacky. silly kitties! oh oh,.... they did what? honey last time, AND theaters?!?!?!?! It6 is a good thing I laud down the law today on wacky pizzas! I like the nanners.... yes! they were Mannie's, so I sit there when I wants to be close to him. It's way cool. heeeheeeheee on your bean! Hi Ann - yes, I felt bad for him, but he recovered soon enough, like as soon as he was out of the office! :lol: And yes - it was nice to spend a little time with Erin and the boys, very relaxing. THX on the pics! Oh yes on the pool today - he was very excited to be going, as we only made one day last week, due to the Thomas the Train event. LOL on your hat as the bad hair. I do that too. :lol: :lol: I think Lola would win in those gymnastic events - omg. crazy kitty.

Hi Mary - That Elsa doesn't mess around! :lol: :lol: me too on the haircut, and agreed on nicholas. it will be better next time. It ust ave been upsetting,as he really did cry. He just did not want a stranger putting some pointy thing in his mouth. poor kid! THX on the pics,a nd I think they look alot alike too. Nichoals at Williams age looked just like William does now. LOL:hope that sentence made sense.... TWINS! I will have to take a video of Lola riding the frig door express. it is way too funny!

Hi Amy - hey thanks - I think Mannie did good too! I see his influences in so much of hat they do: the quirks, attitudes, mannerisms. It is kinda cool. I think Nicholas will with the dentist. He did well with about 70% of the visit. The last "open side and let me poke" did him in. THX on tonight: will do!
