Good Morning World! Sunday
AMPS 255
Sir KT's squattin' in the mid 200's for the last 2 days....I KNOW what that means, he's about to drop like a rock, probably today. I poked an extra couple of drops today to help that happen. We've seen more blues over the last 2 weeks than we've seen in a while...NICE!
I'm 'babysitting' the neighborhood again - yep, everyone slowly came over asking if I minded taking care of their animals while they went xxx.....2 left Saturday, the others left Sunday so not only am I getting to love on all OUR babies, I've got 16 droolers and 3 cats to love on too! One of the groups of 6 droolers gets lots of attention, care and love but the others only get lots of attention when I take care of them...they all love it and I love the smiles in their eyes.
Still working on the Torino - got the gas tank back from being cleaned but there's something metal rolling around in it, can't get it to come out. We put in new plugs, new plug/coil wires, new points/condenser, replaced several gas line pieces and about to start tracing vacuum lines. We're getting awfully close to trying to start it for the first time! Oh I HOPE it turns over! I cleaned the upholstery over the last 3 days - surprisingly it all cleaned up quite well, looks SO nice. The driver's seat has 3 small tears at the seams but all other is still in good shape. Not sure how I can repair those seams - they're not unsewn, they're torn at the stitching....shucks! We never found the snake but I DO know he lived in there for a long time which is why the interior IS in such nice shape, Mr. Snake kept the mice out! I found 2 unshelled raw peanuts in the back seat - the mice would have eaten them in a heartbeat!
HUGS to all that visit today! Thoughts and prayers for our new sugar babies showing up every day - there are so many of them lately. At least they are willing to TREAT this dire beasties! That makes me smile a bit.
