last day of antibiotics.

He is looking much better than he was 10 days ago
Once he's finished the antibiotics, I would get the urine rechecked to see the UTI has been completely cured.

Thanks - yes he is doing good - today he was a bit nauseous and threw up after eating grass and looking a bit down but is eating well.

He has a dental next Monday. Vet noted some gingivitis and lots of tartar and will take xrays - there is an area that she is concerned about - not sure if he will need an extraction. I wonder if she could take a urine sample Monday and assess it then or if I need to do that sooner.

I feel like I could be slightly more aggressive to get him a bit greener but his appetite was very inconsistent on AB and I dont know if we will be looking at another course of antibiotics after dental (or if uti not cleared)? I am not sure what to expect...but thinking I will stay at 0.5 units until after the dental unless his numbers head up before then.

Great that he is doing well after the AB and glad you have a dental set up. Staying at 0.5 units sounds reasonable to me.
