Morning all :) Cleo seemed pretty active this morning, following me around the house during my morning routine, instead of just laying around, so that was good to see. Sadly still walking on her wrists though :( It looks so painful when she does that, it makes me wince. Really crossing my fingers the potassium or B-12 help her quickly so she quits walking like that.

Anyhow, morning BG was high, but at least not as high as last night's, so hopefully progress. We'll see how she does on the 1.25U dose.

Hi guys .. well it's good to hear that cleo is in a good mood! Fingers crossed that her new meds help her out so she can start walking better .. it's hard to see them struggling ..

You are giving her methylcobalamin B 12 right?? Moonie walks on her hocks not on her toes, so I know what you mean--Prayers that it will work & as her bg starts to get regulated that helps a lot too--Hope she improves soon-Hugs From uS!

And yes Roni, I am giving her methylcobalamin B-12 for the neuropathy - she's getting 1000mcg at breakfast and same at dinner. I'm thinking about increasing that since they just pee out any excess B-12. The vet wanted me to start off slowly with it though in case she had a poor reaction, but she doesn't seem to have any adverse effects from it.

On a sort-of happy note, she's *definitely* embracing the wet food diet. She was trying to wolf it down so fast tonight she was making herself choke, so I ended up having to feed her one little cut up piece of wet food at a time! Hopefully this doesn't become an everyday occurrence!
