I kind of knew that this bounce was coming, although I wished it hadn't. He was going steady in the pink for a week strong. He also had a plus 5.5 at 69.
I probably should have checked him an hour later. I think this 1.5 dose will do well for him. I have been so busy lately. We are moving to Kansas City in a
month so I would really like to get him steady in this last month. Fingers crossed! Have a great day everyone!

I was hoping that was a bounce. He may also be picking up on your stress of the up coming move. I know both Autumn and Cassanova's numbers went wonky right before our move. Cats are pretty sensitive to change and seeing their stuff being packed up is stressful since they are such creatures of habit. Dogs go with the flow better because they are pack animals so where the pack (their humans) go so they go. If the pack says we move the dog is okay.....ride? Cool I like rides!! Lol

Yeah, Mikey was like that for a few weeks before the actual move all the way up to about a month after I'd moved. It even took me a month just to get him to come out of my new room! ohmygod_smile Hopefully Georgie is not as stressed as Mikey gets when things change. ;-) I can't even re-arrange my living room without him getting stressed. :o

He gets really stressed out in new situations. I get really stressed out as a result. Our first move since the diabetes diagnosis.
I'm sure he will be fine. He is a resilient little guy. In the back of my head I am freaking out though.

With Mikey, I basically did a "re-introduction" of him to his new environment by slowly moving the food dishes out of my room and down the hall and through the living room. It is only about 20 feet but it still took almost two months and he still to this day won't go in my dining room or kitchen. ohmygod_smile (I moved back in April).
