Everything is good here with Trix. Fortunately we've had no gelcap woes the last few doses. She's such a good girl.

All the civvies have put their summertime appies on the shelf for now...hopefully they will keep them there. I don't need anything else to worry about.

My Dad's CT scan wasn't great, but honestly I don't think it showed anything TOO unexpected given all the other info we've gathered in the last few weeks. We still don't know what type of cancer we're dealing with here. I guess we'll find that out when we meet with the oncologist; he is supposed to make that appointment today. The hard part right now is the fact that my Dad feels very defeated, which is understandable - all of this was very unexpected and happened so suddenly. But we have yet to meet with a doctor. So now, as stressed as I am, at this point I have to put on my fighter face and tell him quitting is not an option.

I'm off today...food shopping and other stuff around the house I guess. Sending out tons of extra prayers to J.D., Lucy, Simon, Zener, and my entire LL family.

A very nice start for Miss Trixie today. It is nice to see Mr P do his job, You surf well today Trixie.

Hugs and comfort vines for you and your family. Positive vines too for your dad. it is difficult whens faced with a major illness, I will continue to hope the best for him.

(((Amy))), I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm also sorry to hear that your dad is feeling very low right now. What a stressful time you all are going through. I will pray for your dad and your whole family -- many healing prayers.

It's only natural that your dad would be depressed at this diagnosis. It is so important that the rest of you try to keep things upbeat. He'll catch on eventually. It's such a shock to the system. Sending lots of prayers, healing vines and hugs. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
Glad you have not had any gelcap fights today and I hope Zen is totally recovered from his trauma yesterday.

We are keeping your dad and your whole family in our prayers. I hope your dad finds a reason to bring on his warrior spirit.
