I don't know what you kitties did at camp yesterday, but clearly Emma had a good time, because I came downstairs to find her sitting by the door with her bag all packed! I guess she's looking forward to coming back today!

I didn't know about Canoe Camp until I read a little about it last night. That's because I'm a bad mommy by not posting enough and reading enough condos. I think I would like to send my two, today, since it's the last day, if that's okay.

Hey, Stu....had a great time yesterday and am ready to come on over today again! I think this canoe camp is cool, but mum thinks that I'm eating way to much this week and is threatening me with a diet. I keep telling her all fuds are lo-carb tho! Got my bags packed and by the door, and threw some more spices in the bag for the cookin...catch ya in a few...Looking forward to seeing the gals again ;-)

Oh gosh, I am a bad Bean, too, as I am just catching up since my trip. Maggie would like to come today and would like some of Stu's cooking after eating French fries and gravy and burgers all week while I was gone. See you there at Canoe Camp. Maggie says she needs some help with exercise, too, since she's put on some weight.

I'd love to send mocha and twix to canoe camp ... mocha apparently is going to wear a teeny weeny green bikini even though I told her she's much to young for that .. she rolled her eyes and gave an exasperated sigh. Twix however is running around in a panic as she can't find her arm floaties .. guess I better go help them out .... have a great day everyone!

Hey Stu, thanks for the invite again today. It's been fun. Hope you get a big turnout, for our last day at Camp Stu. I'm not much of a cook, but Mama said I could bring my bag of dried chicken, to share. I'm on my way!

Hey Stu! I think all of LL is coming to camp today - this is so cool! My day pack is packed too, and I am out the door. We have to have the grandest cookout today - it is our last day. I had to promise my bean that I would leave all contraband at home: no trampolines, bungees of diving gear... shessshhh!!! See you there! ~~ Mannie

Stu, I'm coming, I'm coming, mom made me wait for another test. :roll: I'm almost green so I brought both boards. Wow, everyone is coming for the grand finale. How about a bonfire and toasted grasshoppers? They should just be coming into season. -- Tess

Me & my bro, Copper are on our way, to enjoy last day at Stu's...WE need to be away from here & company!!--You guys Rock, I cant wait to get there & take a swim, surf, or just Hang!! Here we come honeys!! We'll get Stu to come down to blue today!! Fun in the sun!! Bringing some Yummee shrimp appetizers for all to enjoy!

Looks like some scuba diving & bungee jumping went on at Camp Stu today. :mrgreen: I hope Stu wasn't one of those kitties doing the diving/jumping.

Hi Everyone,
We're back from Canoe Camp (exhausted) and apparently all the kitties have gone home from "Camp Stu" (some may still be here!). Stu loved having all his friends over. Don't know what they did, but they sure did have some good ideas about how to spend the day. Looks like lots of cooking, grilling, toasting, baking etc. took place, and of course surfing and swimming/diving in the lake at the end of our street. Judging from Stu's numbers today, he may be on the rise again. After tomorrow morning and early afternoon I'll be able to get some more tests in to see what is going on this week.
We had a gray, drizzly day today for our paddle, with some squalls, but no thunderstorms. The paddle was really nice--a loop through about 7 or 8 ponds and streams in the St. Regis Canoe Area. We had only one short portage (about 1/4 mile, but it was steep and muddy). I am still muddy and am about to take a shower.
Everyone have a good start to the weekend. I intend to catch up on sleep!!

Sounds like an awesome day - even with the portage and the mud... Relax tonight, sleep. We all kept an eye on Stu. Kitties had a blast!

Ah, portages, I don't miss them at all. At least you didn't have camping gear to haul too. I do miss the rest of the BWCA though.
