Good Morning, Everyone,

We didn't see the Full Moon last night: it rained all night and is still raining. But it may have been better at Camp Stu, which is 70 miles away. Rusty got home late, but was ready for his AM routine. He's napping in his basket now. Edward is at yoga and I am waiting for the carpenter, who called to say he would be late. That's OK. I have lots to do!

Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines to all kitties who need some,

Ella & Rusty

Yo Kitties, That was some Full Moon Party! Wasn't it exciting when Maui landed her plane on the lake? I wonder when she got it outfitted with pontoons? Our Chief Pastry Chef, Tess, enjoyed canoeing so much that she decided to practice making a water entry into a capsized canoe. It was almost as good as the Titanic, she says. The Kitchen Krew did great. Ollie was in charge of the clean-up and had a great crew to help him. And the Blue Mannie Group was swingin' and rockin' all evening. The guests at the motel next door enjoyed the music. The Paw Prints pizzas were a big hit. The midnight moment of silence when we remembered all of our beloved GAs was the best part of the evening. I know that they were all celebrating along with us. I can't wait for our Halloween Party at Camp Stu when the veil will be so thin that we'll be able to see them.
Thanks, kitties, for making the Full Thunder Moon Party such a great success,
~ Rusty

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a nice start for Rusty! I like that blue, and will hope for the green lagoon in a few. Surf well today Rusty.

Good luck with the carpenter/contractor. I so hope all goes well.

Bummer on the weather, We have sunny skies, and were able for nice to see the full moon. More often than not we are the ones with rainy cloudy skies when it is time for moon viewing.

Have a good one today!

i LOVE the full moon party report. Well done kitties. YAY for the BMG - what fun they are.

Nice blue start for Rusty. I sure wish you all would send some rain our way. Our storm never happened, just a rumor, and we have sun and more sun. Good luck with the carpentry work. Have a nice day,

Rusty, thank you for pulling that party together and for having it at Camp Stu. I had the bestest time. That was amazing with Maui landing the plane on the lake. A good time was had by all, Mags

Hi Ella......what a lovely blue day for Rusty today. :-D

We finally got sun today, but I swear everything smells like basement....even outside. Yuck!
I hope it cleared for you. I don't know why you had carpenter there....must have been in yesterday's condo, but I hope you got the work done to your satisfaction.

Lookin' for Rusty to hit the lagoon tomorrow.....night is for sleeping. :-D

Hi again,

Rusty had to endure a noisy afternoon and was not happy that he had to stay inside while the carpenter was here.

Our carpenter worked all afternoon and pulled off lots of siding boards around the bottom of the house. Most of them date from 1923 and had some rot. He does good work and we are lucky to get him. After he installs new boards (and improves the drainage), he is going to put in a new front door (our door--which is quite recent, not original-- is so rotted out that it has fungi growing in it's cracks) and re-frame the little greenhouse extension on the garage. He will work tomorrow and Thursday and all next week, when he will have another carpenter working with him. This is work that needs to be done. We can't let our house deteriorate because it is in a historic district and on the National Register. Next month we are finally going to have a whole-house generator installed. So we are in home-improvement mode. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather stays dry (after last night's rain, today was quite nice).

Tomorrow is the day I will climb the last mountain of the Saranac 6. I'll get my patch and sticker! Yay!! I have to leave early, so Rusty's condo won't be online until late tomorrow afternoon.

Wishing all a good evening. Continuing to send vines to all in need.

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for the visit.

Wow, you are one touch chic--mountain climbing!!!

Good luck with your home repairs and my paws are crossed for no rain

Blue Rusty, still in the Blue Mannie Group mood following the party I guess. ;-)

Thanks so much for the party report. Zener wouldn't tell us a thing, but we knew there had to be good treats since he had a grr_red AMPS this morning.

Paws crossed for a dry climb tomorrow! What's next after the Saranac 6?
