Yes. Testing in 20 from last test, so testing at +4.
I’d give some low carb to convince him to SurfShould we feed anything?
See what the next test is and then decide. Because you have fed the HC food you will need to monitor for 2 hours after the last lot to see the BG doesn’t drop again. So we will test again at +5, in half an hour. Maybe feed some more 1.6 at that point. Then do you think we could wait an hour to test at +6?
Yes, that’s true. We will be monitoring until 2:30, two hours after the last HC, so we will still need to test at +5.5.See what the next test is and then decide. Because you have fed the HC food you will need to monitor for 2 hours after the last lot to see the BG doesn’t drop again.
It did a few nights ago!I am very glad this is not the night cycle. But the time will come, wont it.
Thats true. I forgot already. It did a few nights ago!But tonight, bounce cycle most likely. We should know by the preshot number.

Yes it will. Sheba used to have a run of lows in the day, then swap to the nights.I am very glad this is not the night cycle. But the time will come, wont it.
We are doing this with our Chico currently and we hope this will help him flatten. If know it worked for him last year. Our approach is that if at +1 he has a food bump we feed LC, if he is already dropping we add a bit of honey (our MC). The difference between Merlin and Chico is that Chico usually nadirs at +2 meanwhile Merlin nadirs usually at +5 so it keeps you on your toes longer but i really hope he will flatten out soon and it would get easier.Looking back at this morning and yesterday morning, I see he had a big food bump at +1, so we didn’t feed. And then he had a huge drop both mornings between 1 and 2. It’s hard to think of feeding him after a big bump, but maybe we should try that tomorrow…?
I sure wish I could just find a formula that works, but it seems like we are trying to climb a mountain of jelly.
