UGH! You know those weeks where you just wish you had crawled back in bed on Monday morning and slept until the next weekend? Yep...that is this week.
Cobb spent yesterday on the higher side...

Luckily we didn't have to spend the day worrying about Cobb because Matty is STILL SICK! OMG...daycare germs can bite me. We took him back to the doctor last night - urgent care this time because his fever spiked back up to 103.6 and yes, I got thrown up on...AGAIN. Enough is enough of THAT! They looked in his throat and he has strep. My poor baby. I would have never thought he had strep throat. Looking back though, it's kind of obvious that his throat hurt because he's been refusing to eat most food, except yogurt and milk. But he throws it all up. We got him started on some antibiotics last night and I'm starting him on a probiotic tonight when I get home, so hopefully he'll be feeling better real soon.
Of course (because little children just sneeze and cough when they feel like it, in any direction they can, including straight in Mom's face!), I am now sick as well. Luckily no strep! But I went to the doctor this morning...sinus infection and pharyngitis. Sooooo, antibiotics and a steroid for me. Yay!!! :-x
All of this on top of yesterday morning's incident. I was rushing because I slept through 20 minutes of my alarm ringing right next to my head. So I get my work bags in the car, and step back to make sure I don't hit Matty's head on the side of the car - and I fall off my shoe...while holding my little boy!! And since I'm holding him, I can't put my arms out to break the fall. I have a massive bruise on my elbow, sprained my ankle. I did manage to get my arm and hand around Matty's body and head so he didn't hit it on the garage floor.   I think he was more so startled than hurt.
Did I mention this has been a really rough week????
Hopefully, things start getting better real quick. I'm over this week. I need a few days off to curl up and cuddle with my little boy - and have Cobb at his safe, and respectable, distance of an arm's length away. We wouldn't want him giving people the wrong idea that he actually wants some love.
Lots of healing vines to all who need them!!
