Yesterday's condo

Happy Hump Day LL!

Another long day for me with pain clinic and taking DM along for the "ride" (which always ends up adding lunch and shopping to the trip) so I was happy to see China being her usual cooperative little self and not making me worry!

Now if I can just get her to be a little more cooperative on the PM cycle, I'd have it made!...LOL

I did learn from the last time I got to the last few drops in the pen though and when I tried to pull up her shot tonight, I didn't assume there was insulin in it (sure would be easier if they'd add a color to the insulin!)...and sure enough, there wasn't a drop so had to open my first new pen from the box I got from Canada. Hopefully the new pen won't cause any problems. The pens took a little longer to get here than I was hoping (but there were 2 holidays in the week they were shipped) so I'm hopeful that won't make any difference. They were still "cool", just not cold when they arrived.

Guess time will tell!

Glad that China was a good lil girl for you while you were gone....

Normally when I go to my mom's house, it also involves some sort of food and/or shopping.

As for the PM cycle, if China learns how to do that, can you send China our way so she can show Skooter how it is done?

Did I read somewhere that when you start a new bottle/pen you want to do a little less than you normally give due to the possible potency of the new vial/pen? I am thinking I will be giving the Canadian pharmacy a jingle to get Skooter's pens ordered. His insulin expires in September, which would be about 4 months since it was opened. I have dropped it twice, obviously not broken but just worry about the potency after some of the stuff I read.

Let's hope that China mimics her nice day tonight!

Good luck with the new pen. I hope China doesn't have any cliff diving planned for the night so you can get some sleep.

The one thing you can count on with China is that she will keep you on your toes at night. I know cats are supposed to be nocturnal, but you'd think after living with a human for so long she'd get the drift - daytime is when you need to be active. NIghttime is for surfing and sleeping!

Cinco is still wandering around on the blue floor, so he's not keeping China company. I'm hopeful they'll get together again soon. They do bring out the best in each other! :lol:
