Checkers ate well. Had his tub time. Took med well, hidden in cheese/kibble. Napping now. He'll get his bupe in a few minutes. It's rainy/gloomy, once again.
As much as I'm loving these low numbers the last few days, I have to leave him today, and will have to abort his good run, with higher carbs, depending on numbers, of course.

I was suspicious of the meter, as he didn't change in the first 3 hours, despite food and kibble/cheese. Result was only 12 point lower, so guess the meter is correct.

Got a derm appt today, and have to leave at his +7.
Probably have to have biopsy on upper lip. Already had 2 surgeries on bottom lip. If you have a prayer or good thoughts to spare, would you send on my way, please. I'm terrified.
Sorry i'm not getting to condos. I'm afraid I don't deal well with fear.

Glad Checkers is doing well and took his medication.

Best wishes for you, and I will keep you in my thoughts today. All of LL will bethinking of you. Hang in there, many hugs for you too! I don't think any of us handle fear well. no worries on the condos, I know we all understand.

Checkers looks great today - a nice steady blue. I hope he will surf this, would be nice huh. I remember many a time with Mannie, having to abort cycles when I had to be somewhere. Safety first, so do what you need to do. Checks will adjust, they always seem to.

We are thinking good thoughts for your biopsy today and sending prayers and vines for a good outcome. Try not to be afraid. Your friends are all with you.

Checkers, be a good boy and surf those blues while mamabean is out at the doctor's. She wants to see good numbers when she gets home.

Our weather is crummy again, too. We had 2 good days!

Checks has been looking so good lately.
I deliberately made this appt, at this time, because he had a habit of rising halfway thru cycle.
Of course, he had to change that, and now I'm afraid I'm going to have to give him yummies, to stop the drop.
He'll love that :-D

He planned it all out! he knew he'd get the good stuff cause you had to leave! ;-) Pretty greens though.

Thank you Ann. Unfortunately, I've had 2 surgeries for skin cancer on lower lip. That's why all the fear.

TMI? Sorry folks. I'll shut up cause I have to leave now :roll:

I'm very happy with Checkers numbers today, considering all the hc he ate. Come to think of it, he barely touched what I left. I can't trust him to keep safe while I'm gone.
I still came home to a 198. Nice :-D

I did have biopsy on upper lip. I look like I had a bad cosmetic procedure, with half a swollen lip :lol:
Results in a week. Hate that wait.

Hi Barb, sending vines and prayers for benign results on your biopsy. I know the wait is awful, but it will go quickly. Glad Checkers is doing okay today and got in his tub time.

Hi Barb, thanks for that link from Wag.com on the low entry lb's. The low entry one looks perfect. It's out of stock, but they will E-mail me when it's available. Veryreasonable, too.
