WCR well he is doing Ok other then these bumps on his ear :?: I am wondering where on earth they came from I am presuming its allergies but they sure appeared quickly he has itched them again today and they look just terrible bleeding a little so I am going to talk to the vet and see what can be done for the ear since I normally would be using steroids for his allergies but this is what made him FD so have to find something else now and I can tell its bothering him, he is very allergic to ragweed when he was tested years ago he was very high for that and I am not sure what the pollen count here is for that now. Other then the ear we are fine all P's in place and his numbers are a bit better so far ;-)

Poor Do Lou, ears are so sensitive. I hope you find the problem soon.

Awww, poor DoLou! I hope the vet can find something to treat so DoLou can get back on the road to recovery soon. He should go to Stu's today; maybe it would make him feel better. They are having quite a party there, from what I hear. :-D

not a bad day at all.

I read your note on your spreadsheet a few days ago. I know this is easier said than done, but try not to worry too much about the numbers, just do what you have to do. Do Lou went down the dosing scale pretty fast the first time, and sometimes when they do that they reach a point where they lose momentum and you have to go back up. Lucy did that to me, I thought she was going OTJ then all of a sudden the numbers were horrible again, and I had to climb all the way back up to her original breakthrough dose. I was so frustrated, I bought new insulin, new strips, new meter, new food, everything but really it was just that she needed more insulin again. She did eventually reach another breakthrough, and I'm sure Do Lou will too.
