I tested Max last night at +4.5 and he was 169. I didn't think he would drop much more and didn't test again. Imagine my surprise at a 87 this morning. He tried to get me up at his new usual 4:15 a.m. He used to do it at 5:15 before I moved his shot time up 30 minutes. He drank a lot of water which made me think he would be high. He actually got up on my bed and was head butting me and purring. I petted him for awhile and then he left. I wonder how low he went last night. Well the bounce is broken yet again. Will he bounce again or have a green day? I haven't got a clue.

Okay, so I can't get prevent getting excited about an unexpected green amps. I just wish Max could figure out how to be more consistent. How does one plan with a cat like this???

I hear ya Elise..Chi Chi just gave me a 124 and then a 143?? :? I still think they were separated at birth! :lol:

Hopefully you're just looking at a food spike and not the start of another bounce. C'mon, Max, you can do it!!!

Laura, the 124 and 143 are within meter error so flat.

Amy, I hope he's not bouncing quite so fast but if so maybe it will be a shorter one. I don't know how low he got last night. I was up and could have tested after the +4.5 but decided not to bother him as I didn't think he would be in danger of a hypo. I still don't think he was but maybe he spent some time in green and boing!!

How do you spell stubborn in cat language? MAX!!!! I put his treats in a different room after his last test. He won't go to get it. He is standing by his empty food dish instead. Earlier when he got his second mini meal, I tried putting it in a different room and he wouldn't walk to get it. This is not from pain. He is a creature of habit. And it was suggested I put a harness on him? I better try the food feeder because I think I will need to return it. I bought batteries Sunday but haven't taken it out of the box yet. ohmygod_smile Such a prima donna. Oh wait, the king finally came to get his reward.

I don't understand where the 87 came from this morning any more than the 287 tonight. I guess he went into green or low blue last night and bounced again.

Hopefully just a bit of a food spike before Max slides back down. Those green AMPS sometimes seem to come out of nowhere, don't they?

I rarely see a green AMPS and this one was especially odd considering wht happened yesterday. He came down a little and I guess I need to check until at least +6 to find out.
