Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS, Elsa please... this bean is mega tired...), and Happy Monday LL!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug want to make their cheery cherry pizza pies. I have to admit that they are pretty good! i just wish though that they would keep the cheery cherry whip on the pies, and stop squirting it all over the kitchen. They are all pink now...  OLLIE? We are going to need your sponges! The sliding will be mega good today! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

Sorry I missed everyone, once again, yesterday. I had gone hiking, for the day, and then my DS and his DGF stopped by for a visit.... all of which made for no condo visiting for this bean.

I hope everyone had a great Weekend, and that yesteday was a good wrap up for it all. I went hiking yesterday, had a really nice time! The hike was great, and all the visits I made along the way made for a wonderful and very very pretty drive. This is what I wrote in last night's post: "HI everyone! I have just returned from today's hiking adventure. WOW! What a great day. We had sunny skies, mid 90's over by Leavenworth, and a nice breeze to keep things cool on the trail. Today's hike was at Icicle Gorge, near Leavenworth. It's a gorge hike, with Icicle Creek running through the center of the Gorge. The trail is a loop trail, crossing the creek in two spots. Views are outstanding! Creek is too. To me it is more like a river, there is alot of water that goes down that Gorge. I made several stops along the way to my hiking destination, just to explore. The hike itself is not a difficulty one, nor is it long, so I took the opportunity to visit several waterfalls sites and river sites along the way. Sure was pretty out there! I took way too many photos. OMG: I came home with 580 pics. That is so me...." Picassa links to the photos and videos: Travels on HWY 2 and Icicle Creek. Nice, huh!

I so LOVE the welcome home committee! They never ever disappoint. Yesterday was no exception. Lola and bug were at the top of the stairs. Bug was hollering as he alwyas is, as I SWEAR he has a bottomless pit, and would eat 24/7 if we let him. I told him he was mega early, cool his jets, and dinner will be served in 30 minutes. He still hollered... Lola was rolling on the stairs as she always does, looking all cute and cuddly, flopping and rolling back and forth. She still hasn't fallen on the steps. but I suspect that is a matter of time... She is so energetic. I don't know how she manages to avoid a roll roll roll down the stairs. silly cat. I told her too that dinner was up in a few. now Elsa... She was waiting on the deck: seems that DH closed the screen door and she couldn't get to the top of the stairs. She looked so disappointed!  I told her it was OK, she tried and that was all that mattered, She too got instructions that dinner as 30 minutes out. So.... 30 minutes later there they all were, lined up in the kitchen waiting...   I remember thinking that all was well in the house when I got home.... no Lola whatevers....until I went into the office and found the shredded box of Kleenexes.   She couldn't even be good for one day. Love that cat! OH! You too Bug ad Elsa, you too! cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure what will be here yet. I may have breffis with my DS , if he can me it. I may go hiking too. I DUNNO! Well,we may just let the day evolve, and see where I end up. COOL! :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Hey Lil Bit,

What's wrong with your Bean? What does she mean that Lola wasn't good?! :o I think she need to see the white coat beans. don't you! Lola was very good. Why didn't you tell your Bean that you want Cheery Cherry Day to be a huge party day and Lola being the smart girl that she is, decided what goes better with a party then streamers and confetti! So, because she couldn't find any, Lola had to get creative and make it herself! I'm just surprised she didn't use the TP too!

Now carefully please pick it all up and put it in the shooter so Bug can shoot out the confetti to announce Cheery Cherry Day!

And hurry up with our deliveries today. My bean is getting grumpy and she needs extra cheery!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, always has creative ideas

Morning Michelle, ~O) ~O) that sounds like a great hike and beautiful area to explore again or you've been there befire, can't remember! Love the Falls videos and scenes from the drive. Such beautiful places near you. Oh I was just waiting to see what Lola would get into while the cat was away! Nice they greet you and ask for din din. Have a great day if you go onto a hike or breffifs with DS.

Elsa, thanks for the Double Espressos and 10 Hour coffee, sorely needed on Mondays, thanks. Lolo and Bug, I'll take three of those cherry, cherry pizzas. They are so good.

MAUI! Hey GF! :-D I knows!!! My bean is so silly.... what WILL we do with her! I like that logic: she just wanted the streamers and confetti for cheery cherry on day. I will tells her that. silly bean. heeheehee - Bug is on top of it, and I helps too. OK, I will hurry - we can't have a grumpy bean, no way, no how. See ya! ~~ Elsa, likes cheery creative too.

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) It was such a nice time yesterday. The area is beautiful, without a doubt. And yes, been there before. One of those places I like to go back too. :-D I know on Lola.... always something!   THX on today, yes: breffis, and then a short hike.
Auntie Ann! You is welcome! some for your neighbors too. Lola and Bug got you pies already too. lots of cheery cherry on them. Mega good they say. ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi, Michelle, I just love hearing about the 3 distinct feline personalities in your life! So funny and sweet!
Enjoy your day today, whatever unfolds for you :-D

Ah, Lola...you'd think your bean would've learned after the first Kleenex incident, wouldn't you? Hopefully she'll forget this one, too...I mean, a box of Kleenex has to be the greatest toy ever!

Actually, Michelle...maybe you should borrow Kat's deer cam, set out a nice big box of Kleenex with the camera focused on it, and see what transpires. You may very well have the next YouTube sensation on your hands, but you have to catch her on film!

Hi Michelle,

You could come home to a surprise in every room from Lola!! :-D I am glad that Elsa tolerates and maybe enjoys the younger ones~

I am with you - that creek sure looks like a river to me. Must have been a wonderful hike! and was that a stray horse in the road???
Have a wonderful day!

Jane

I love hearing about the kitty welcoming committee. Of course Lola had to have a surprise for you.

I love the pictures. That looks like a great place to hike. I hope you got to meet your son today.

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was mega good, as nicholas would say, Breffis with my son was really nice, but.... We found out this morning that the owner will be closing the place down in about 6 weeks. One of those deals where a small business just can't compete, fray costs etc. Guy hasn't had a pay check in years. I will be sorry to see it go.... So, kinda felt like getting out after that. Would have taken anthony with me too if he didn't have to work. I went to the Snoqualmie river, access by north bend, middle fork it is called. It has been a couple of years since I've been there. last time Erin, Jason, and I went, were strung by a mad swarm of wasps, dozens of stings. sheshhh - the things one remembers. well anyways - the trail is a very long one, i just did 8 miles, just to the section where the trail meets the river again, about 3/4 miles in. It was enough distance to get to where I could get some time at the river. I sat and soaked it in for about an hour. It was nice to spend some time on the banks of the Snoqualmie there before heading home. I was glad I could actually get down to it. :-D :-D It started out very foggy, but sunny and warm when I left. came back with over 400 photos: LMAO: only I could do that.... I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Hi Carla - But of course on Lola!  The welcoming committed was waiting again today, but no surprises. She just tried to sneak out. I could see those wheelies turning, and the telepathy: "OK Bug, you distract her lone enough so I can dart through the legs" Nope! Foiled at the pass.  THX on the photos, and yes - it really is a great place. Fall there is outstanding. The area is known as the Alpine Wilderness.

Hi Jane - LOLO, and I know!   I cautiously go from room to room when I get home... She was a good girl today. SO far I have found nothing amiss. Weird. THX on the photos, and yes it is. it is one of my fav locations. It never disappoints. Yes too on the horse. There was a field of them next to the road, so I think he somehow managed to get out. He was walking the road when I passed.

Hi Amy - LOL, one would think that I would learn after the first box....   apparently not!  She has such fun with them. I watched her once: she meat-hooks them one by one, chewing and shredding as she goes. :? ;-) I SWEAR that I should set up those cams in the house for when I am gone, or asleep. might be quite the eye opener. Wouldn't that be a kick: Lola, the next YouTube sensation.

Hi Josie - Hey - thx! They are all so different, and ever so fun. it's fun to watch those different personalities interact. THX!: the day was great: breffis with my DS, and a river hike. best ever day!

Hi Michelle,
I'm getting around so very late.. i feel like The White Rabbit.." I'm late, I'm late , for a very important date"
I think your morning fog pictures have to go in my list of favorites. It looks like magic. I hope you used it to make a wish.

   Lola and the Kleenex. Is there a commercial in there somewhere? Even the cat loves Kleenex? no? ok, maybe Maui is right about the confetti and streamers for the party.

Have a great evening. Looking forward to tomorrow's photos. Hugs to your 3 live wires and scritches to you
xoxo mary and ollie

Hi Michelle,
I just finished looking at your pics from yesterday. Wow! Icicle Creek--YES!!! All the shots are gorgeous. I really like the ones of the sawn tree with icicles (?) on it? Great patterns.

Today's adventure sounded wonderful, too. Too bad about the little eatery. Isn't that always the case: the places you love get forced out of business.

Those 3 kitties are quite a tribe. I hope they will enjoy the Full Thunder Moon Party tonight. Rusty put the Paw Prints' pizzas on the menus for both parties. Chef Rusty will put them to work. Elsa can just have fun: the kitties don't drink coffee!

We are back home and so many things to do. The carpenter/contractor comes tomorrow and will be here working for 2 weeks. I hope all will get done and that we don't have too much rain.

Have a great evening. thanks for visiting Rusty while we were at Canoe Outing,

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Mary - No worries on the hour. I'm lucky if i get to condos at all. I do not know where the time goes.... LOL on the White Rabbit!  Hey Thanks on the photos, and the fog ones. I LOVE taking photos of fog - it can be just that: magical, and adds an extra dimension to the photos. FUN! THX on today - it was great, and will do with the "live wires": a good description btw. I agree on that Kleenexes - it makes me Laugh, and Love Maui's thoughts: confetti and streamer! She rocks too! :-D

Hi Ella - THX (!) on the photos. I LOVE this area - it is right next toe the "enchantments" - the primo hiking destination here in WA. One of these days I will get there. maybe. Some backpacking is involved. THX on today too - it was also very cine. I enjoyed the time sitting on the backs of the river. VERY NICE! I so agree on the eatery - I will miss it. OH OH! I missed the full moon party. :Lola and Bug just gave me a whack to the noggin and are hard at work getting their pies ready. oh oh.... they missed the OTJ too - I am in deep trouble. no Worries though, Elsa is pitching in and all will be ready! -- and good luck with the contractor. I too will hope for no rain for you, so they work gets done on time. been there done that, so I will keep my paws crossed! -- Scritches will be passed on! :-D :-D

Great day! Lola, you are too funny.  I'm glad your bean appreciates you. You too, Bug. And you too, Elsa. :-D :-D :-D Wow, that's a lot of photos...
Liz

Hi Liz - LOL: yes it was alot of photos. I couldn't believe I took that many when I uploaded them at home. I always have the camera with me, out and ready to go, so If an image strikes my fancy, and many do, it just takes a click of the shutter. yupp, never a dull moment ere with those kitties. :o

Loved the photos again Michelle! Too funny on the 580 pictures. How ever do you manage to prune it down to just a few for us to look at? And how did we manage before digital cameras came out? :-D

Cherry creations are especially good, what with all the local cherry crop available now! Your kitties are most entertaining.

We had fog, or more properly mist (slightly farther visibility) first thing this morning for rowing, but it burned off before most sensible people woke up.

Hi Wendy ~O) Thanks on the photos! I laugh every time I come home and see just how many I took. Crazy! I do delete some, the rest I just sort into albums, and HOORAY for digital! Sure does make it easier. LOL on my kitties - but you are right: entertaining for sure! That comment about sensible people made me laugh. so true! We have seen having alot of morning fog here too, usually burns off late morning.
