yesterday

hahaha you guys were so funny yesterday about the 46! it was at his nadir and i knew he'd be starting upwards, and a little of his regular low carb was all it took to get him to hold.

punkin bounced from the 40's yesterday, however, and is clearing it now. a 24 hr bounce isn't too bad, although i really like it when he's in a non-bouncing phase. he's gotten tested so many times this week we've really gone through the strips. only 200 left in the cupboard! and to think i used to keep a spare 50, back in the day. now i keep a spare 150 or so. :lol:

punkin seems to be in a pretty good space. whenever he gets into green numbers he gets playful, and that's so good to see. he sharpens his claws on the carpet like a mighty warrior about to go off to best the enemy, and he gets in a little kitty wrestling with anya.

yay for Caturday! i just froze a flat of boysenberries to make jam with later - not in the ambitious mood for it right now. the sun is out and it's supposed to hit mid-70's today. we think our son will be home this week, which will be nice.

I'm glad Punkin is clearing his bounce. Boysenberry jam on toast sounds so good :razz:
I start to worry when I'm down to 2 or 3 hundred strips, too.

Nice to hear a good Punkin report It's great that he' s clearing his bounces quicker and those greens looked wonderful on him.
Mmmmm on the boysenberry jam. I've never made jam but you've inspired me to try this year. Greg makes pickles and packages them up with funny labels for holiday gifts and they're always a big hit!

So nice to see punkin is happy! Daphne never does anything different when she is low or high. I do notice that she seems more relaxed now.
