Good morning everyone. As predicted, we got a big ol’ bounce this morning after yesterday’s beautiful blue streak. Starting the day at 399. :oops: I need to figure out how to get him surfing in the yellows for a few days so he can get used to the lower numbers. I hate these extreme bounces, and I’m sure they’re not good for Moe’s little body either.

Moe just isn't used to those nice blue numbers yet. The more time he spends there, the more accustomed he'll become to them. His liver sees that period of lower blood sugar as a threat and is dumping every bit of stored glycogen into his blood stream. You might want to give him a pokey break until later today and let him ride it out. It'll be interesting to see if he's breaking his bounces any quicker than he has in the past. Luci does now...usually the same day now...but in the beginning it was days...

Hang in there...he'll find his way back to the beach again soon :)
 
Try not to worry too much about the highs...it's the lows that are more troubling. He has other issues that might be attributing to those highs ... hang on for the ride down :)
 
Been 11 days since he last saw green. Moe is overdue for an increase. The way to get them used to blues is to get him seeing greens more often. You don't want to "get them surfing in yellows for a few days".
