Welcome back to Monday! Healing vines today to Lucy, JD, Zener, Sasha, Tricia, Trixie, Sabrina, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad, and Molly's Dad. We continue to keep Sienne in our thoughts and prayers.

I guess I pooped LBG out because she's lying in the hallway on her back sound asleep.

From the time she was an itty-bitty kitten, one of her favorite games is to hide behind doors and swipe at you if you walk by or, better yet, play with me with a wand toy. It started out when I was sweeping the laundry room and she got behind the door and was swiping at the broom from underneath the door. So I went to get one of her little sparkly thing wands and as I came back down the hallway, she was peeking around the laundry room door to see if I was coming back. When she saw I was, she raced back behind the door. We played for several minutes (I had kneeled down) but when I got up quickly, I hit my head on the door handle lever and I hit it so hard I saw stars. Of course, this meant our play was interrupted but when I got my brains back in place, I looked and she was peeking around the door you are falling down on the job, mama!! Baby not done playing!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Another wild dive last night. I thought I was being so clever at my sleuthing to catch when it started so I checked her at PMPS and then +1 and she was flat. I tested her at +2 and she had dropped 67 mg/dL in one hour :shock: At least I was able to keep her from dropping into the 40s but the green didn't last long due to the carbs/karo. Last night was the sixth cycle after her reduction so I know her depot is now no longer working off any of the 0.35u. However, our sleuthing tonight will be a test at +1.5. We will get her to flatten out and stop this dive/bounce cycle. Ok....we hope we will.

I hope Gracie clears the bounce soon. Ouch on hitting your head that hard. I hope it doesn't hurt still.

Oh I hate when that happens and when I see stars - sorry to hear that Marje!! :shock: Gosh, I'm hoping tonight won't be a three-peat of the past two nights - I mean those are great numbers but wow, that's deep sea diving Gracie!! :shock:

Ouch! Reading that hurts my head. :sad: No bouncing, didn't you read that memo, Gracie? Thank you for your good thoughts for Zener and all of the other kitties and beans. :-D :-D

I'm so sorry to hear about the "stars"! Those door handles jump out and crack me in the head when I least expect it, too. It's like they conspire with the cabinet doors to inflict the most pain possible when the humans are enjoying themselves! grr_red Hope your sweet girl keeps moseying down to the blue floor and the green floor (eventually...no surprises, Gracie, ok?!) So tonight we are trying to narrow the drop time. We tested at +1.5 and she was down so we fed 11% and are about to check her again. I think we will start seeing nicer curves if we can just get her to flatten and stop the dives. Hope.

My head is good. It just hurt when I hit it but I'm too hard headed for permanent damage :lol: :lol:
 
Oh my Marje, sorry about the stars. Good news that the reducie is working, albeit just a little too well right now. Good luck with the feeding experiments. Hope you find just the right "recipe" to keep Gracie from doing the old dive and bounce. Sending flat healing vines Gracie's way.
