Hi LL, DAY 14!!! I think I'm speechless, so I'm going to paste something I wrote in yesterdays condo.
This is a happy time, but also a sad time. I feel I'm leaving on a trip, and won't be with my family, my LL family. I know its only been a short time together, but I formed a very fast attachment to so many beans, and especially kitties. I see their little faces in my mind from the board pics, and will miss that a lot. I will, of course, visit, but it won't be the same, I know that. I also know my body needs this break, even if it doesn't last. So I am happy too, for that reason, and of course seeing Daphne look this healthy is so amazing to me.
LL, you are a one of a kind, you put Facebook, myspace, other message boards, on all kinds of topics, to shame. I never met a nicer, loving, supportive group of people in my life. They say, people who love animals are good people, and I've always known that, but I never experienced this kind of devotion to animals. I always said, "why can't I just find friends that love animals like I do, and treat them like I do, who put them on the same level of any human. So this part is the sad part for me. I won't be surrounded by, "my kind of people". I will visit, a lot, maybe not always write, but I will be reading condos to make sure all my LL kitties and beans are doing OK.
Well, I guess this is goodbye for now. I'll see everyone at the party tonight!!! Daphne will have her party hat on. Today, she is enjoying a much deserved deck time, with a cool breeze in her face, and a pack of ice under her towel, :lol: as always, to keep her cool and comfy.
