Yesterday's condo....and thanks to all who left comments of support

It's been another fine day for Miss China!! Don't really have much to say about her anymore....she's doing so well and is so stable!! I can't be more thankful for our success either!!

Looking forward to getting her yearly bloodwork done in anticipation of her next dental...hoping her kidneys have remained stable …..for an 18 year old cat, she's doing great!

Would be even better if she'd go OTJ again, but since I never expected the 1st time, I'm not expecting a 2nd miracle (although I'm not giving up on it either!)

As for me, another day of Lasix and I actually have toes!! Hadn't realized how swollen my toes had gotten until the Lasix pulled enough water off that I can see them again...LOL

Still have a lot of water to lose though.

Now to share something that's very cool!! We have an artist in town who's painting on the side of one of our old brick buildings and it's so fun to watch as the painting grows. When I first saw it, there was only 1 horse...then another one showed up followed by a man behind the team.....a few more weeks and there's now a barn, some tree's and some blue skies! It'll be fun to watch as it grows!!

Glad the Lasix is helping, Chris. I'm sure you're feeling more comfortable, despite the extra exercise you're getting. ;)

I saw you posted about the building on FB. That's so cool. What fun to watch it progress.
 
Oh, Thank you for sharing that Mural! I've always wished the cities would allow painting to be done on some of the old buildings. I think everyone would appreciate, & benefit from it.
I'm Happy to hear your Miss China is doing well! I'm sure miracles can & do still happen. I'll be meditating on one for you & China!
Can I ask why are you taking Lasix? I don't go to a doctor but lately my left ankle is swollen .
 
I hope the Lasix continues to help. That is amazing how much water weight you gained and so quick. With our kittehs and ourselves, we are lucky to have modern medicine.

My aunt just had a heart attack this week and got a pacemaker. They said she will now be mostly fine. Modern miracles. I hope there is a good miracle for you.

And for China - doing amazingly well for an 18 year old kitteh.

That is so beautiful, thank you for sharing. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a talent like that? Also, very glad to hear that China is being her perfectly wonderful self and that you have toes!! :joyful:
 
I have a history of getting Lasix and Lasik mixed up, and especially since you've so recently had eye surgery, for a moment I thought you meant you could see your toes--but this is even more significant! More vines for continued response to treatment.

I enjoyed hanging out with you in the lagoon today, China. Momma says you set a good example.

Oh my...so sorry to hear about your health! I sure hope by catching it early you can get things under control. I know my mom had severe congestive heart failure and a friend had the same - loads and loads of fluids on board - made it difficult for their hearts to keep up to snuff. Both recovered beautifully! So take heart...I believe 'recovery' is in your wheel house - look how well China has done? Sending vines and prayers for you to get on the road to recovery quickly...let China show you the way...:bighug::bighug::bighug:
