Re-check at vet, no ketones, no blood in urine, no white blood cells in urine, have 1 and half Cipro left so she said continue to give him the rest. Last night was day 7 of antibiotic. Teeth looked good, and she checked his gait and thinks there is improvement.

Are you still on the old vial? Have you thought about either raising the dose a little, or switching viles ;-) :mrgreen: ?

It seems like things were so close to a breakthrough a while back, I feel sad that we can't help you get him in better numbers. It's been about 10 days since the dental? So while it still may be that it helps his numbers, doesn't look like it's going to be anything dramatic (unless the a/bs are knows to affect BG? I'm not sure).

Sometimes they just need a boost from some insulin to be able to get good numbers on their own. It looked promising enough when he got those greens a while back and got really good duration, so that is a good sign, if we can just bump him into better numbers for a little while.

Also if his AMPSs are still quite a bit higher than PM, might be time to reevaluate the timing of the shots? I'm not sure since I know you have problems accessing the SS so I'm not supersure where things stand right now, but I feel like we are letting you down that we can't seem to get him into lower numbers.
