Yesterday Ugh

Ugh, still in the stinky pinkys this morning but better than yesterday. Paws crossed he finds some better numbers today. Appy is ok. Yard patrol was minimal as it's still wet from our rain yesterday evening and paddy paws would get too wet. :lol: Zener is on the filing cabinet helping with his condo. He hasn't had any breffis in bed lately. I'm off to ride up Snowbowl Road. I estimate it's a category 2 climb but I don't really know. 7 miles, 2100 ft climb, topping out at 9400 ft. I will have to stop and catch my breath.

Happy OTJ Day to Cleo! :mrgreen: Paws crossed for Willie, Purrcee and Scamper OTJ trials. Looking good! Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter. Thinking of Kathie. Happy Caturday, LL!

Hi Liz. Looks like Zener has turned around and is headed in the right direction now. He probably didn't want you worrying about him while you were on your ride.

Sorry about the stinky pinky. Looks like he is coming down nicely. Good luck on the race. That would kill me, 9200 ft., breathe, breathe, cough, cough, pass out.

Well, it could be a slide in the making. Nice to be off the stinky pinky floor for a bit anyway! :razz:

@Josie & Ripley - how could the beans forget to mention how handsome our handsome guy is. He is so handsome we posted a picture of his handsome self for everyone else to see! ;-)

@John - Zener sure tries his hardest to help his beans. He is such a good boy. He's been weeble wobbling in the pink-yellow zone today, so maybe Mr Liver is calming down a bit. :cool: No worries about not visiting for a few days. We have a hard time keeping up with everyone and ourselves too, we understand! :-D

@Doreen and PeePee - living at 7000 feet does help with those higher altitude rides and hikes. ;-) He just teased us with that yellow this morning. :twisted:

@Cleo & Jane - whew, are you tired from all the parties? party_cat There is only one road near us that is flat. Liz rides that one too, but today was the hill challenge. She figured out that it would be a category two on the Tour. :lol:

@carla - the mighty Z has been up and down today, poor Mr Liver and his trust issues. :roll:

@Michelle - we hope he's on a nice, slow slide. But with Mr Z, you never know. :lol:

@Ann & Maggie - Zener has changed his pattern lately from breffis in bed with the sleeping night duty bean, to sitting on Liz's filing cabinet and helping with his condo. Having the window by the filing cabinet full open with lots of hummingbird action at the feeder is a little more enticing than the snoozing bean. :razz:

Paws crossed all the kitties are quiet when they come home late from the OTJ parties! Don't want to wake up any sleeping beans. drinking24

That is one relaxed kitty!!! Looks like he could be working on a classic slide...maybe looking for a PJ party?? I hope you had a great ride today!!

I'm glad to see Zener out of the pink zone. Now, we'll have to wait and see how much attention is desired for the PM cycle!

I don't think a kitty could look any more relaxed than Mr. Z does in that picture. :-D Wish I could sleep like that~

Major storm down here in the valley too. So nice to see a good rain. Z-man looks like he doesn't have a care in the world - you guys must be treating him right! Hope you had a nice ride today. I have a week off coming up - can't wait to get up in elevation for some day trips to get out of this heat. Think we'll hit the rim, maybe. Glad Zener is finding his way back down the rainbow!
 
I was a little premature with the slide pic. Boy howdy, did we have the light show and a metal drum concert too. A pretty spectacular monsoon storm, and we don't usually get them at night. Zener did NOT like the thunder and retreated into his man cave. Now that it's all over, he is having a picnic on his back porch, even though there are still some sprinkles. He is insistent on some outside time in the dark, even if it is raining.

@Amy & TrixieCat - Zener is practicing his own advice about "worry less". And when he is so cute, there is definitely "pet more" going on too! ;-) Liz had a great ride and missed all the rain. Looks like no PJ party tonight.

@Sienne - the storm must have given the poor guy's system a little jolt. Looks like he is giving me the rest of the night off.

@Deborah & Shasta - isn't he just the cutest? He doesn't even have to try.

@rhiannon and shadow - Z is practicing shavasana, the pose of complete rest. ;-)

@Jane & Cleo - wouldn't it be great if beans could sleep like that! You are so welcome for the thoughts, we have received the same from people here in LL a thousand times over. :YMHUG:

@Tara & Buster - we are still getting another round of showers, but without the dramatic lightning and thunder. Hope you aren't getting the wind and dust along with your storm too. The weather has been great up here, though our rains are coming pretty late in the day and it's been a bit warmer during the day than Zener likes. Let us know if you plan to come as far north as Flag.

Looks like the weather drama is over for us, and the slide seems to be have flattened out. So, the night duty bean will take advantage of an early night. And to sleep with the sounds of rain, an added bonus. Ni Ni LL. I-)
