Hi Everyone,
We're home from Canoe Outing and Rusty did fine, considering that it was so hot and humid for the whole week. His spreadsheet is now up to date. Last night we had violent storms with 65 mph winds and lost power for 2 1/2 hours, but all is well here. I have to go back to help with registration for the second week of Canoe Outing this afternoon, but Edward and Rusty will have a nice afternoon together.
This morning I combed and snipped out (with scissors) several big fur clots from Rusty's chest. He was so good and didn't complain at all, even though they were hard to reach. He must have known how much better he would feel without out those balls of clotted fur. There are still a few more to get, but we'll wait until tomorrow.

Hope that all is well in LL. Back in the early evening. Enjoy the weekend and keep cool. (A huge cold front is apparently on its way to us, and temperatures tomorrow night are expected to be in the 40s!)

Hi Ella. Nice start of the day for Rusty. Glad to read that you, Edward and Rusty enjoyed the Canoe Outing. It sounds like it is a fun event.

What a great start to Rusty's day. I hope he puts on his Lagoonmeister hat for you today. It's great that he's got one bean back home again - I'm sure that'll make his day. Yikes on the knots! It must be hard to keep ahead of those. Neko does NOT like knot work and it doesn't take long for them to form.

Weird weather you are having, but the cooler weather will be a bit of relief. Good thing the storms didn't happen during the paddle.

Gorgeous start today Rusty - almost green! well done. I bet you feel so much better too without all those fur mats. Be sure and thank you mama bean. :-D

OH my on your weather. HOT one week, COLD the next. Bummer on that storm last night too. Crazy weather. I'm glad Rusty did OK with it all.

Oh Ella...the Hairball Aid came today and I gave it to my two. I hope we have the results that you have...
Shadow really is not good with those hairballs and vomiting. I read somewhere that the flaxseed is NOT
usable by the kitties at all and I am not crazy about anything "soy"...but if you said it works, then I am soooooo
happy to give it a try... Shadow licked his up from a dish...I put some on Raja's paw....we shall see...fingers crossed! :mrgreen:

Glad the heat wave is breaking, yuck on the storms that help it happen!

Please give Chef Rusty our thanks for making Cleo's party food so spectacular!! Nothing but compliments were heard!!

Hi again,
Well, I never did get back to the board until after the Tour de France! Got stuck at the registration and post-registration and just came home and collapsed. But Rusty had a great blue day. See you all tomorrow.
