Racci spent part of the night green and I imagine is going to spend most of today green also since she's still nice & low. Now the trick is for her not to go too low. :razz: Racci is in a good mood today and very affectionate. She couldn't wait for me to get up and has been trying to wake me since about 6am! I got up about 7 and gave her another meal, DH had already given her breakfast that she gobbled up, and I went btb. She came over to the bed rubbing it and quietly talking to me asking me to get up. She finally let me sleep another couple of hours after I paid a little attention to her, but she was waiting right there for me overjoyed that I was getting up. :lol: Such a sweetie! All needs taken care of, cleaned up & played with, and it's naptime on the turbo scratcher for Racci now. It never fails to amaze me that she'll sleep in such an uncomfortable looking place when she has so many comfy beds to sleep in. :lol:

It's raining and looks like it will be all day today. yuck! I hate gray days. They're so depresssing. I have scripts ready at the pharmacy so hoping DH will go so I don't have to go out in the rain but better get ready in case he doesn't feel like it. TTYL!

I wonder if she's going to bounce from an overnight #? I guess I'll find out soon.

Hi Melanie, maybe the +3 still food possibly. Racci sure is a sweetie letting you sleep and then all happy when you do get up. Hope she gets back to her pretty greens. Thanks for visiting us today and for your advice on the syringe, very interesting and informative.

Hi Ann!

It would be nice if it is the food still. It's possible since she ate so many times today. It could also be that she's having a late nadir today. I'll know on the next test.

I hope that it helps you. I give Racci about 12 syringes a day since I mix 3 syringes of water with her miralax and 2 or 3 each with her cosequin and methyl B12 and she sits next to me and takes those meds just like her other meds. I just gently tilt her face with one hand (holding her chin) and syringe with the other so it works for me. :smile: Give it a few tries. It may not work the first time but once Maggie sees that you're doing it slowly on the side of her mouth and doesn't feel like she's going to choke, she'll probably let you also.

I hear ya' on the gray days, but YAY! for the rain!! I was thrilled with the little bit we got this evening; we NEED it!

How sweet that Racci let you sleep in...after her needs were met, of course! :lol: :lol:

I wish we had a way of knowing shot times. When I read condos, I get so confused trying to figure out when people shot and where 'we' are when I'm reading. (Hope that makes sense.) Anyhoo - I hope Racci came down for you today and has seen some pretty GREEN!

Thanks, Roni! :smile: I don't mind at all. I take pleasure in doing it. She's such a little sweetheart. I look at that precious little face and just want to kiss it. When she decides she doesn't want to cooperate, now that's a different story. :lol: She's usually so good & sweet though. If she's cranky I leave her alone and an hour later she's sweet again and will let me do it.

It doesn't look like I'm getting any greens today. With a 155 for +6 it looks like she's been surfing the blues. The way I feel today though I could use the rest. I hope she doesn't do what she did the other night and turn around at the last minute with a low green pmps and keep me up all night with low numbers. :o That was not fun! Then she had the nerve to turn around and bounce the next day! :lol:

I hope things are green or low blue in Moonie Land and she's feeling good. I've been meaning to get over and say hi today but haven't got there yet. Take care of yourself Roni and thanks for visiting.

Hi Melanie, I know what you mean, its nice sometimes to not have to worry about greens. Maybe tomorrow, will be her green day again. Blue is nice for now.

Wow, Racci really went up there tonight. A yellow! I hate changing doses with her. It always takes forever to get it straightened out and figure out the fraction that's good for her, make sure I can replicate it, and know if she's still bouncing from the dose change or from something else. I blew it tonight on top of everything. Somehow I wound up giving a skin shot instead of getting under the skin, I think! Will the insulin still give it's full effect? I don't know if I've done that before.

We must have passed each other in cyberspace. :smile: No such luck with Racci today. She's either bouncing or I gave her too little. I've been trying to get that dose just right. I wanted it a little lower since she went down to the 40's the other day but I think I might have taken too much away? It's hard to tell.
I've often thought the same about wondering what time it was when someone posted. I look to see their state sometimes to get a clue on the time zone. :-D Of course it's not the same as knowing the time but it's something. You have a great night too!

The flat blues aren't bad if they stay low but that yellow has to go! :o :lol: I love those silly smileys. Thanks for saying Racci is adorable. I think so but I'm prejudiced. :lol: If I could figure out how to do it, she'd have barrettes and bows on. I love to groom her. If only she loved it. She'll let me do anything with my hands as long as I don't have a brush.
