Yay - a yellow start this morning - such a welcome change from all that pink. :-D Maybe the new dose is starting to do its thing. Mannie eventually made blue last night at nadir. It was nice to see not too much of a bounce this morning.

All p's accounted for - or so I think. The LB is alwasy a mystery, what with the civvies in there too. Mannie was waiting for me in his test spot this morning when I finally made it upstairs to the kitchen - with the "where you been" look. He was ready to go, not too sure I was. :lol: Breffis #1 consumed with gusto, #2 about to be served. He's in a great cuddly purring mood this morning. food done, toys played with, last remaining item: perimeter security.

I am off on another day hike today , so Mannie is on his own until about +10. Auto feeder is loaded, DH has been left instructions, I hope he will be good and safe - think he will. I heard him mumbling something about Stu's and cooking, and friends, and beach surfin' and getting his day pack ready. sounds like he has it all under control.

Good morning Michelle and Mannie! Sounds like Mannie has everything under control there...except for that stupid stinkus pinkus number there...Come on Mannie...you know you can do better than that!!!

I don't think Mannie understands that you won't worry about him if he surfs in yellow or blue. He doesn't need to go all the way to pink.

Maybe you should take Mannie with you hiking - you know all that exercise will help decrease the bg - plus when he's tired enough you'll have to cart him around and it will be even more exercise for you. See - a win /win situation!

some how this just made my day! no wonder he still is pink - Tess: you have his bungees. WOW - no messin' around with this one. back to :mrgreen: where she belongs, and very quickly.

THANKS to everyone else who visited Mannie today. I suspect that his stinkus pinkus is due to all the cooking and sampling he did while at Stu's today. I heard him mumble something too about off to the beach at Doodles, and para-sailing at Tess's, and a sleepover at Shad-O's, and visiting Moonie :shock: and the rest I couldn't catch - he was too busy filling his face....

Hey Joyce - you may be on to something there - he could use some exercise! and me? what's another 15 pounds in the backpack when he poops out... piece of cake! :?

Survived the hike - a GORGEOUS alpine river/falls hike up by one of the mountain passes here. River was so full and fast - just gorgeous. Tired though - the hike was a worker - 15 miles, 2055 foot gain (most of which was in the first 2 miles . PHEW! and this I have to share: it is official - I am a dumb a**: I get back to the car to discover i had left my keys (all!!!) on top of the car. :shock: :shock: ohmygod_smile :shock: :shock: :roll: what an idiot!!!!

Hey Michelle, Glad to hear that you were able to get home!!!!! I've done that with gas caps, but never with the car keys!!!
The kitties apparently had a good time today. I'm not sure what they did, but I think they did a little cooking (the food was probably better than the dorm food we've been enjoying!). Sorry that it raised Mannies numbers!!!!!
Hope you have a good evening and that Mannie's numbers will come down to good surfing numbers.

Michelle....so glad there was a car to come back to....
I knew a guy who went out on an all-day cod fishing trip. When we all got back to the dock, there was his car....still running! DUH. He forgot to turn it off and had locked his keys in the car too!
Would like it if Mannie and Shadow got serious about things now. Don't you think it's about time!!!????? :roll:

hi Ella - liked the key story, huh? That was a first for me - just could not believe it.... and was elated that they were still there, my car was there, and I could get home!!! a little unnerving, and I feel so stupid... guess I won't do that again! Mannie isn't talking - so whatever they did it must have been good!!

I hope this new dose for Mannie kicks in soon... I had hoped we were going to see some proof of that when i had a yellow this AM - not yet i guess.

I'm with you Iorwen - sure would like to see others colors on Mannie's SS - like blue, and green....

Pat - omg on the guy and the car!! that tops mine!!! too funny... and yes - hear ya on our two getting serious about all of this - it is about time. :roll: i really do hate pink.....

Hi Michelle! It sounds like your hike was beautiful, and I am so glad your car was still there!! That's crazy (but in a good way)! Buzz has been missing Mannie; all she talks about is parties and decorating. I hope Mannie leaves the pink soon.
