Yesterday's condo

I got up bright an early at 5:30 am so I could drop Moon and Boots off at the vet for their neuter appointments. Rescues are allowed to bring in their animals right at 7 am rather than wait in line with the public (it's a very busy spay/neuter clinic). I'll be able to pick them up at 4 pm - can't wait to get them back!

Nice start for both Mandarin and Walter. Mandarin bounced for a half cycle, but made it back to the beach by last night.

Here are some pictures of my two handsome little boys. :kiss: ...and I got to run to get to my volunteer shift at the shelter.

I'm fostering them. They were born to a feral mom in my neighborhood and my neighbors thought they had a home for them... until they showed up at my door, hours before they were leaving for Mexico, with two homeless kittens in their hands. Long story short, how could I possibly say no to those two faces. Luckily, they are pretty social considering that they came from a feral colony and were already over 2 months old when we caught them.

They are both back home with me. They were still a bit groggy when I picked them up, but are wide awake and starving now. They just got their kitten Fancy Feast and ate their dinner like nothing happened. I don't really think that I'll be able to keep them calm for very long.
