Good afternoon LL! Crazy morning! Bob had sleepy day. He had such a couple of good days lately, I wish he was like that all the time. Getting really tired of these numbers. Going to start trying to introduce the wet food tomorrow. Sigh. Just preparing myself for the stress. Going to start with a tsp so it may take a while but I think if it's going to work, this is what I have to do.

Have you tried adding warm water to make the food more like pudding? The only food I ever had a problem with Nikki on was the prescription food she was on after her diarrhea. It was the consistency of tofu and she HATED it. It killed me that she would lick it and then walk away. So I started adding a little warm water so she could slurp it and that made a huge difference.

I just read Bob's profile. What some gorgeous kitties you have! It looks like the three of them have a pretty tough life on that bed! Three of the luckiest kitties on the planet found their way to you. Hector really should be a model. What a face!!
Good luck with your transition to wet food. It was tough with my bunch also, but they finally got with the program. We'll be sending you lots of
"YUM YUM, I like wet food" vines.

Thanks Alexis - I did try making the food slurpy with tuna water. No luck - he walked away. The night before he ate some, so go figure. Guess he's just being a cat! ohmygod_smile

Nikki and Wink need to come on over and show him how it's done.

Hi Mary-thanks for the "yum yum I like wet food vines!". We need lots of those. I think the new food is raising his BG even more. :o so stressful! This is gonna happen!

Hector appreciates the compliment. Oliver is quite handsome as well. What's he got in ur avatar pic? Is that a critter??
