Yesterday's condo

After a flat yellow day yesterday, Walter got his pink pants back out of the closet. I was really hoping for a short bounce, but it doesn't look like we will be that lucky. Despite his numbers, he seems to be feeling well and is being very patient with the kittens. This morning's testing routine involved Ivy, Iris and Fern climbing over him to get to his treats.

Flora has now gained a total of 4 ounces over the last few days. She is continuing to eat well, but still doesn't want to play much (I can't say that I blame her - her three siblings are so wild and fearless, they scare my big cats sometimes).

This morning's cuteness is brought to you by Fern. After playing hard before dawn, she wasn't quite ready to get out of bed this morning when her bean had to get up.

Awww! Fern is such a cutie!!

And she is feeling so much better now that she had her infected eye removed! I don't even want to know how much pain the poor kit must have been in. She is so much more cuddly and social now that she is pain-free and has turned into a major cuddler.

Darn you! Now I have extreme kitten lust! Maybe I'll just find some time to volunteer at the Best Friends kitten nursery here in town.

Flora, keep eating and gaining wee one. Lots of vines that her rocky road is turning into a smooth trail to full health!

Ok Walt enough trampoline time...back to business please. Very good to hear Flora is gaining some weight and hopefully her desire to play will pick up bit. LOL, with that cutie Fern...the life of a kitten is sooo exhausting

Look at that: Walter listened! He ditched the pink outfit and is ready to head back into better numbers.

I already took the pups for a nice hike through our nature preserve. The weather couldn't be any more perfect: mid-70s, lower humidity, sunshine. All of my windows are wide open and the cats are loving it too. What a nice, lazy Saturday.

Sounds like a great day for a hike with the pups! Walt, good work on putting on your blue pants. Love a little bouncelet that ends quickly. OMG on Fern. I love it when they sleep upside down! Great report for Flora. I'm sure as she continues to gain strength and feel better, she'll play a bit more.
