Trix is still splashing around in the lagoon...apparently she is quite happy that her beans are on staycation :mrgreen: !

How did it get to be July 2 already?? It's still overcast with pop up rains all around us here. I'm sure DH will go do his laps (the pool is open as long as it doesn't thunder), and I'll keep doing stuff around here...a blend of getting some chores done with some beading and fun stuff in between.

The report on Baxter (the severe hypo kitty on FaceBook) from yesterday is that he is now standing on his own! This is huge. He is medically stable, so his bean is preparing to bring him home soon. He still has a ways to go with "rehab", but he is progressive, which is wonderful.

Great news on Baxter. I was wondering are you the Bean who is getting ready to take him home, or did I misinterpret? Have a great staycation day, Amy

NO...I'm not the bean taking Baxter home! He has a very, very dedicated MamaBean who is taking him home soon....not quite yet, but soon. I believe they are out west somewhere, but I don't know for sure.

I hope you are enjoying your staycation. I always liked those, just time at home to do whatever sounds good that day.

Wonderful news on Baxter, isn't it. That kitty is a survivor... very cool.

Just a brief visit to the shores of the lagoon, then she got right back in. I hope she keeps surfing all these greens once DH and I go back to work next week!

I am glad to see Trixie doing so well!
Thank you for the report about the Baxter.
I know the symptoms of hypo, but I had not idea it takes so long to recover.....
I'm glad he is stable now.
