Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Stu is starting the day in high blue !! (but I think I may have given a fur shot). He didn't eat all of his food in his automat last night, but cleaned his bowl of 1st and 2nd installments of breakfast. He's done the perimeter, contributed to his lb, played with his catnip bag, and wants more food. Yesterday there was a whole family of deer (7 or 8, including 2 yearling bucks) in our garden, eating the daylillies. Stu was fascinated and looked for them this morning, but they had cleaned out all the daylillies and moved on!
Today is a gorgeous, sunny, cool morning and we are going to do the paddle we have had to reschedule since Monday. Hopefully there won't be too many cars parked at the put-in (lots of people have taken this week off and there are scads of vacationers about). Mr. Cat will be on his own until the late afternoon.
Stu said that the party yesterday was so much fun. Thanks to Tori and Barb for having all the kitties over.
Off now to paddle to Weller Pond (across Middle Saranac Lake). Back in the later afternoon and will pay visits to condos then. Everyone have a great Friday and start to the July 4th weekend.

I think Stu should get his own little sidecar and go paddling with you. The thought of that makes me smile. Maybe he could go fishing for his food too :-D Have a fun, safe weekend.

enjoy the paddle Ella - and the weather! It is drizzly yet again here. oh joy of joys! chore day for me, even more fun.

Nice start today for Stu - Mannie on the other hand is pink yet again, but a low one. maybe he can join Stu for a blue surf!

On my way to the garage to spin :lol: I'm thinking the outside sounds much nicer :-D

Hiya there Stu! You started the day off nicely, at least your bean doesn't have to worry about you while out on her paddle.
Spot is looking forward to seeing you again this evening at Magnolia's party. He is resting up now and has the alarm set to get up in a few minutes.

Ella, hope you enjoyed your paddle. It was a beautiful day here in Pgh. so I'm hoping it was a great day for you also.

Calling the Kitchen Crew!!

OTJ Party for Magnolia tonight, so all hands report for duty!! We're doing tuna tartar, rabbit provençal, turkey kebobs, field green salad, and catmint parfait. Lots to do for everyone. And then we can PARTY!!!

Hi All,
We had a beautiful paddle today: lots of sunshine, no motorboats, lovely rocks on an island to eat our lunch on. Stu was banging on the door to go outside when we returned. Of course he spent an hour in the garden and only tried to sneak away once!! I don't know what his bgs were for most of the day. Bg started out promising, but I think I gave a fur shot this morning, so we'll see. I just don't seem to be able to give shots very well lately (after 4+ years you'd think it would be automatic!!).
Looking forward to visiting condos in a little while, after dinner. PMPS is NOW, so let's get a good shot into Mr. Cat tonight!

Sounds like a great day Ella - envious here - I am glad that you finally got to go this week.

Stu goes up, Mannie goes up - what is up with our boys? Stu did have a nice start this morning. Hope his pmps was a good one. Enjoy your dinner, and your evening!

Im sure your boy will pick it right back up where he was, and continue working his way through the jungle just fine....because, he has YOU! :mrgreen:
