Instead of going back into the lagoon, Sly just likes to skim along the surface on his floatie.

His test and breakfast was a little late this morning. Mom was tired because we were at the e-vet with Avalon until 4am. Jason heard her and Opal getting into it downstairs and found the utility room floor covered in bloody footprints. We got the bleeding slowed, but couldn't determine what the damage had been and didn't want to just leave it, couldn't really even let her get into the litter box with a possible open bleeding wound on her front foot. So off she went. They cleaned it up and put some liquid skin on it. Thankfully only found a tiny cut that tended to open and bleed whenever her toes spread. They wrapped up her foot too but she had that off before we got home. Clavamox for a week just in case it was from a bite and because its her foot. Yippee!

Congratulations on Day 4!! Looks like both Sly and Fred are on day 4, so maybe a double OTJ party coming??

Those foot wounds are always bad bleeders...makes them a real pain since we can't get our kitties to understand how to "stay off of it" ...and "leave the bandage alone" is another one they seem to have trouble comprehending!

I have found a real good way to keep fur children from removing bandages. Vet wrap the whole foot half way up the arm or leg.

Haha! That is exactly what they did :) She threw herself around the carrier for a while shaking it violently until she managed to flip it off of her leg. It was still attached above the elbow on the outside of her leg so it took talent. Took out a lot of hair around where it was attached. She was very motivated!

Dang I would say more like inspired by Loki... I don't know what else to do other than tying her up so that she cant move and thinking about it... it sounds tempting at times.
