Good Morning!
Scooter seems perkier this morning. He ate a very small amount of gravy food, ran and stole a bit of Toby’s kibble before I could catch him and ate some freeze dried chicken. I’m hoping he’s getting over whatever it is he’s had.

Morning Jill! I'm so glad to hear Scooter is perkier today. I'm sending vines in hopes that this continues. Perhaps not him being a rascal with Toby's kibble, but after yesterday, I'm not complaining too much, haha. He has a great AMPS this morning, despite yesterday's shenanigans. I hope he continues eating and I hope he surfs safely for you!

Glad to hear Scooter is doing better!

If this happens again, the vet or you can give injectable cerenia instead of pilling cerenia. It will cost more but it's another option aside from the great advice you received yesterday. Also I'm just not a big fan of giving oral medication when a cat is vomiting.

Cyproheptadine is also another type of appetite stimulant that is supposed to be better about not making kitties nauseas.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Scooter and I really appreciate them!

We had quite a day today. He ate a very small amount of gravy food at shot time. His BG was 60 at +1 when I had to leave for work. I had put him out a buffet of all 7 different foods I had. When he hadn't eaten any more by the time I needed to leave for work, I gave him some kibble and he ate a bit. I was hoping he would eat more and the kibble would help keep him up through the morning. When I got home at lunch he was at 48 and hadn't touched any of the food. I got him to eat a bit more kibble and took him back to work with me. I gave him a few Temptations from our work kitty and got him up to a high of 87. After work I ran to town and got 3 more kinds of food. He ate about a tbs of Sheba tuna, I have know idea what the carbs are on it, but at this point, I don't care. If he'll just eat something. I but the mirtz on his ear again and gave him some CBD I have for Jessie's (drooler) arthritis. I hope this will help him. I don't think he's nauseous at this point, he just doesn't have any appetite.

Thanks Amanda! He just ate about 1/3 can of gravy food! I think we're making progress!
