Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
We've been running around all day and this is the first chance I've had to sit down. Lots to do getting ready for the Family week on Indian Lake.
Rusty had a good night last night, but only ate about 3/4ths of his food. He's not eating great today, either, but we can always get him to finish his food by holding the bowl and having patience. Mainly, he's enjoying sunshine!!! Yes. The sun actually came out today. (It was raining here last night, but hopefully the kitties could see the full moon in Quebec.)

Gotta go down to the kitchen now to begin the dough for the "cimmamum" cookies (gingersnaps) I want to take to the Family party week. Also have to decide what to take on Saturday to our friends' camp, where we and several other couples always celebrate the 4th of July.

Rusty has discovered TV! The 1952 Disney documentary "The Living Desert" was on TV while we were giving him his bedtime test. We realized that he was watching. Then he hopped off the couch and sat in front of the TV and tried to get onto the screen. All sorts of desert creatures were fascinating to him. Wow!! He was rivited. So we recorded it for him. We turned off the TV to go to bed and Rusty is still sitting in front of it, waiting for it to come back on! A whole new world!
