I kept PurrFace's dose at 1.75U this morning because I started a new pen and want to be sure the old pen wasn't causing this bouncing back and forth between the 2U & 1.75U dose. The old pen only had one or possibly two doses left so it was all but empty. Although he is still in the pink at +2.25 it is a drop of 97 points from the AMPS. I'm hoping this is a sign that he's heading down to the blue and green zones.

Come on down Purrface! I did the same thing last week and am glad that I did. We get almost every drop out of our pen so it was definitely time for fresh juice. Have a great day John!

I didn't run last weekend. I am not doing a half until November, with some 5K, 10K, 15Ks sprinkled in before then. Thank you for asking though.

It looks to me like PF took a big bounce off of that green last night. If you're thinking that he's cleared the bounce, I'd go ahead and increase. You were seeing a great deal more green at 2.0u.

Thank you Sienne. I believe he has cleared the bounce so will take him back up to a 2U dose. He hadn't eaten for 4-1/2 hours prior to the 86 reading last night so I believe that might have contributed to the green number. Thank you again, I appreciate and vaue your input.

I gave PurrFace a dosecrease tonight so he is back at 2U. We'll have to wait and see where this takes us. He's doing good; happy, talkative 5 Ps etc.

OT: I had a problem getting logged on to the board this afternoon and early evening. I kept getting an error message saying it couldn't connect to the server. Finally got on around 7:15 PM CST.

We take our used syringes and lancets to our vet's office for disposal. He does it free of charge. About a month ago he told us that his cost for disposing all the used syringes from his office and clients went from less than $100 to a few hundred dollars. Now he cuts the tip of the syringe off at the base of the orange needle cover, thus cutting way down on the volume and he's only paying to dispose of the hazardous waste portion. He asked us to do the same. Tonight while snipping the tip off of the syringe I nipped the tip of my finger and took out a good chunk from the finger tip. Finally got the bleeding stopped and finger bandaged up. Just wanted to warn you in advance in case I mistype something.

Well BLECH on the stinky pinkies. We appreciate PurrFace keeping Zener company on the pink floor, but let's all go lower shall we? ;-)
