that's a amps that makes me smile! just last night i was thinking it might be time for an increase, and there ya go. punkin was reading his condo again!

shot and went back to bed, so i assume his usual morning ritual took place. he's back to sleep now - lots of sleep molecules floating about our house. have 2 of the kids home - both asleep and the DH is asleep along with the kitter. anya is bathing on my lap - so it's just her and me.

my eldest daughter (turning 25 this week!) called last night distraught about her cat. he's got diarrhea and she couldn't get his pills down him and he wasn't eating. the magic of the canned food combined with the burrito towel worked and an hour later she was SO much happier. you know how it is when you're worried about your baby.

i love the mornings when all you can hear is the fountain and the birdsong. looks to be a perfect day here today.

Super momma bean to the rescue of yet another kitty and now the family is asleep in a peaceful slumber. All is well in the world.

Yay for good advice! Beautiful start for Punkin. Before Willie went all rockstar with his numbers, I always loved an AMPS in the low 200s.... so much promise for a wonderful cycle! Hope you are enjoying your acro reading and that you have a great weekend!

heehee, nearly 10am and all i've done is eat, drink dr pepper and read on here! wahoo.

it's like taking another college class to learn all about this acro stuff. kinda ironic that there are a lot of acro kitties but vets just don't seem to know hardly anything about it.

one more reason i appreciate this site.

Great AMPS Punkin!!!!! What a good boy you are to make your bean so happy!

Sounds really lovely.....we are in the midst of HOT weather...I sat out on the catio this morning with ceiling fan and swamp cooler on me for as long as I could but even the cats wouldn't brave it. Smart critters!!

Glad things are better with DD's kitty. You did awesome last night on the explanation!!! You rock!

in a wild move of craziness, i've moved on to lunch and reading the paper. :lol:

it's 75 on the deck in the shade. a perfect caturday! :-D

You are killing me!! :lol: :lol: :lol: I've had two diet dr. peppers today. And a chicken bacon cheese biscuit and doughnut. Darned QuikTrip and their tasty snacks!!

*GASP* christie, WE'RE TWINS! i've had 2 also. well, i have 2 every day. in fact, now that we've talked about it (mmmmm good) i'm going for diet dr pepper #3.

after all, it's a wild and crazy holiday weekend and i feel like BREAKING OUT!

dang, i really gotta learn how to post pics so i could post one for breaking out. anybody?

if i were interested in rubbing it in, i'd mention that the doors to the outside are all open so the fresh breeze can blow through. but since that would be kinda mean if you have a furnace blast outside your door, patty, i won't say anything. :o did i say that out loud? nailbite_smile ohmygod_smile :lol:

sorry. i have too much time on my hands. along with my wild and crazy ddp, i think i'll go read some more articles on ACRO for fun.

fabulous west cost day today, isn't it? we hit 72, sunny, warm, just nice! I feel for all of our friends who are in heat ranges above 90. way too hot......

don't know if we're going or not. our ancient van, which we call The Peeler, a 1992 voyager with the paint peeling, had a bunch of something fluid come out of it last night. so we're not driving it til it can get looked at tuesday. My DH, of course, was convinced it was fine even though he saw the puddle underneath. *sigh* anyway, we had to swap cars with the daughter to get our other old van, which is only 12 years old, so practically new in comparison. our son had furniture to move out of his place today and bring home, and the camry wouldn't do it.

that's a long way of saying i'm not sure, because we'd have to take the van to go and the mileage pretty much sucks on it. we won't get our camry back til wednesday when we're going over to lincoln city to celebrate the dd's 25th birthday.

on the punkin front, he's one happy camper. got an extra 1/2 can of salmon for dinner because he was so pathetic after he'd finished his usual can. scavenging around licking the floor and all - i took pity and gave him more. now he's stretched out under the coffee table snoozing and there are 2 nanner ends poking out from under him.

I'm sorry to say that i've never had a diet Dr.Pepper, and now i'm beginning to think i may be missing out on something. I LUBS me some regular Dr.Pepper tho!

Punkin has had a beautiful day, with some nice blues and yellows, a bean couldn't ask for anything more. Leo too likes to lick the floor, and i know its bad when he starts licking the wall where there is always FF splatter :lol:
