He has a vet appt tomorrow. Ever since he had distemper (panleukopenia) at 6 months old he has had wonky hips. When he stops, his rear swings around. That has become more pronounced, especially his rear left leg. He still jumps on the bed and even the dining table, but he has less control.

He seemed to be breathing more often a few days ago and I counted 46 bpm while he slept. It has been around 35 since then.
