This is rather strange for him to do this after all this time.

Missed the AMPS post sorry. Power was out for a while and by the time it came on it was time to head to work.

It seems to be hovering around 300 regularly about this time.

I guess if I am figuring this right we need a 0.05 increase? confused_cat

hey mike, do you have any time off this weekend to get some nadir checks?
it really just looks like buddy needs more insulin, but a couple of mid-cycle spot checks would confirm or deny.

how does buddy seem to be feeling? if there's something going on with him it could increase his insulin needs.

He seems to be fine, always complaining about when can he eat two hours before a shot. :smile:

Except; here it comes. A sore has developed around his right side of his face around his winkers. Ack! But it kind of confirms my theory that they are FDB related. His GB's are around 300 again and sticking around more. Which when this all started to happen his sores were pretty serious.

But another theory: ether the high BG's trigger some other issue and the sores come up or its related to only FDB? confused_cat

We where going to have him checked out when it all was pretty bad but it cleared up; but also we had very serious reservations about putting a 14 yo kitty with a L2 HM under while being poked and probed. :sad:

For now its check and see. I am off this Saturday (first time in a month). So we may be able to do more checks between needed house chores. Lawn, laundry, get kitty food, etc. fence is busted...ugh! :lol:

Hey Mike & Buddy, I'm sorry to read that Buddy's sores are coming back. I hope that you and your vet can figure out what causes them. Is it some kind of herpes virus? Anyway, good luck with the dosecrease if it is determined that you need one. And have a Happy Holiday Weekend. I'm heading out to do the lawn (if we can call it that) too.

It's 400, he's never hit 400 before since it all started. Well nuts!

Interesting thought about something triggering the sores. Is he immuno-suppressed in any way?

oh, Buddy...ouch!

so sorry to hear he's got another sore...may it heal quickly and completely.

congrats on having saturday off, though...well-deserved!
 
OK, we where worried about our boy at work when we where not busy. Seems to have come down a tad, a lot better than what was before.

I will be in and out most of the morning since I have only one day off Saturday; lawn is growing to high, groceries and kitty stuff is low!

Will be checking him more often as possible Sat to get an idea of whats going on. I hope.
