Yesterday was.... I dunno what yesterday was! The bean went hiking, and I missed it! ;-) Now the PM cycle was well.... postal pink. I hate pink. Mannie did start out well in the AM, and I had really holed yesterday that I would come home to a nice blue. But alas... seems that the Manster had other ideas. Well, so we star anew today, and hope for good things - like blues and greens Mannie. What'd'ya say? You on board? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It still feels great to be able to say that. I missed most of Mannie's yesterday. I did go hiking, made it home for his +11. He was so funny. He met me at the top of the stairs, and his reaction was pretty much the same as the last time I went hiking. There he stood, with "that look" on his face, eyes were these really narrow slits.... OH OH! Knew I was in trouble.... I could so read his thoughts: "Where have you been! Do you know what tine it is? You left me alone, ALL day long? What were you thinking!!!" and so on and so on and so on..... and then there was that foot stomping.   Back and forth on the stairs and those stomp stomp stomp. Who knows.. maybe he was just kneading the carpet, or he got his claw stuck in the pile...again.  Never a dull moment with the Nanner King.... This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club, AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie, and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so once again, as yesterday, I can safely say: Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I have no clue what I will do today... Guess I had better decide!  After three days with DGS, and a couple of hikes I guess I had better stay home and tend to things.

Hey everybody! What's up! i was thinking... yeah, I know... scary! but maybe we could go to Rusty's and hang out on his porches today, before the OTJ parties? I like it there - it is way cool and stuff. We could talk and stuff, and snack and sip niptinis, and help Rusty look for squirrels. What'd'ya guys think? Anything anybody wants to do? Hey Rusty -you gots a pool? heeheehee.... OK - we gots to get ready for the parties too! We got TWO to cook for!  LET's ROLL!~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Here are some photos from my hiking adventure yesterday - Umtanum Creek Canyon. It was a good time: tons of birds and butterflies, and even a few deer.... I've also included the FaceBook links for anyone who wants to see all the photos and videos: Umtanum Creek Canyon

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244

Hi Michelle ~O) ~O) and great pics of your hike. How far of a hike was it? You have such great places to hike! How funny with Mannie and what he was thinking yesterday. Those slanted eyes tell a lot! I think Mannie will have a good day today and hope no drama. Have a great day abd maybe a mini hike or walk?

Mannie, I know tonite, watch out. Yeah Rusty's porch and I'll be a helper with the cookin and cleanup for two OTJ parties. Yes, I want to see some of those squirrels, too. See ya at the curb. Thanks, Mags

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244

Morning Ella - I hope he does! Find the blues and the greens - a nice slow slide down to the lagoon would be nice. Paws crossed! Tanks on the photos - this canyon is a very nice one, so much to see there. Thanks on the chores, I shall prevail!

Hi Ann - Thanks on the pics - I enjoyed this place: very nice! This hike was about 7 miles round trip. The trail goes on for much further, but it becomes very overgrown after abnout 4 miles, making getting further in difficult - lots of creek crossings too. so we turned around after about 3.5 miles in. and yes on Mannie - you could tell he wondered where I had been, and had I forgotten him. not likely bug guy.... loved the slanty eyes: you could tell he was perturbed...  and thanks - I hope to get out for a shore walk this afternoon. WOO HOO!

Maggie - i know on tonight too - oh oh.... so much to do! we need kitty clones!   heeheehee on the squirrels. they is fun. see you at the curb. ~~ Mannie

Rusty - awesome dude -we are on our way. There is so much to do! Ll these parties.... I wonder if they make those 5 hour energy drinks for kitties... I know on the full moon party - wow! I was so busy wit the OTJ's that I almost forgot about the full moon.... we will be so busy! SWEET! ~~ see you soon, Mannie

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271

Seems like Mannie's showing a bit less of the 300 #s, and more of the 200's, with the occasional 100 type of # thrown in to keep you on your toes, Michelle. Hoping for a lovely surf in lower #s for you both. Have a great day. :-D

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271

Let's step it down some there Mannie
Awesome hiking pictures...I was amazed at all the wild flowers and butterflies!! Very cool!! :thumbup

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271

Hey Mannie, time to come back down and bring Ella with you. The stink eye and stomps are pretty funny. He was probably so confused with the lack of action and nanner decortating. What a guy!

Beautiful pictures of the hike Michelle. You live in a very special area.

Have a great day!

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271, +4 240

240 at +4. Hmmmmm.... looks like a flat yellow cycle shaping up here. ;-)

Hi Angela - that he is - always the one to keep me on my toes, and constancy guessing. And thanks - day is good so far. :-D

Hi Amy - thanks on the pics! There sure were alot of butterflies there - everywhere. That was really kinda fun. This is the season for the flowers over there - quite alot in bloom now. Love the wildflowers!! And I too hope he steps it down a notch.... Paws crossed!

Hi Tamara - I did relay that message to Mannie. He premises to follow through. :-D oh yeah on the stink eye and the stomps - the routine was not normal, and he knew it. Thanks on the pics - and we are lucky - we have alot of everything here, most within driving distance too. Kinda nice!

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271, +4 240, +7 240

Mannie, you must be tired with all the OTJ party preparations!

And you know what they say about flat yellow....

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271, +4 240, +7 240

Wow, definitely a flat yellow cycle today. Hope you didn't have any plans tonight Michelle. Other than the parties of course!

Beautiful hiking pictures, you are lucky to be able to get to a completely different environment so quickly. The pictures look a lot like our interior. I love how you find all the flowers in bloom. My mother told me yesterday that they have seen the first fawn of the year, so there should be more deer out in the next little while.

Re: 7/2 Mannie AMPS 244, +2 271, +4 240, +7 222, +11 286

289 @ +11/ hmmmm. normal spike time, still yellow. what do you have planned Mannie?

Hi Anne - :-D :-D on the tired Mannie... that he is! Plus he has cook books scattered all over the house.  and yes on the flat yellow. and oh oh.....

Hi Wendy - no, no plans... I think maybe Mannie will keep me busy,  Thanks on the pics. It is nice to be able to change places like that - this one was 2 hours away, not too far. i do like the wildflowers - there were alot in bloom there yesterday. Nice on the fawn! I've seen deer, but never fawns. how cool to be able to see the young ones!

Re: 7/2 Mannie PMPS 326

326 @ PMPS. well darn it anyways.... ohmygod_smile this is just like a repeat of yesterday.... come one down Mannie. remember those blues and greens?

Re: 7/2 Mannie PMPS 326

Hey Mannie, What happened to flat yellow magic?!? I know your busy, busy, busy getting things wrapped up for tonight, but ya still gotta work the juice!

Mannie stomps his foot?! Do you have a video of that? I love hearing about all the kitties different personalities.

Re: 7/2 Mannie PMPS 326, +2 326

326 @ +2 UGH! still pink.....

Hi Reagan - i so agree - what happened to the magic yellow???? Not so magic her tonight. And yes on the stomp - it's kind of a mellow stomp, up and down a couple of times, not very high though. Truth be told couldn't really tell if his claw was stick in the carpet pile or not and he was just trying to free it. he was at top the top the stairs, I was at the bottom, and couldn't see all of his foot. but it sure looked like foot stomping .  along with the facial expression it just fit. And yes on the video - I need to try and get that one.

Re: 7/2 Mannie PMPS 326, +2 326, +4 253

Durn.....I was thinking....flat yellow....busy night!!!! Ooppss...Mannie detour but he's coming back down already.

You asked about the syringes/calipers on our condo. Yes...I'm still using the calipers but the issue is the hub. Ella has been having the same problem. The needle coming down into the barrel has changed. Some of the syringes, it's far down and some it's not. They do get some of the insulin in the hub depending on how far down the needle is.

Have a great night!

Re: 7/2 Mannie PMPS 326, +2 326, +4 253

Einnam!! I haven't had to call you that in ages! This is not the way to follow a flat yellow day!

Cute on you welcome home reception, Tess usually glances up, goes "oh, it's you." and goes back to sleep! Sorry to be so late, busy day w/ KK.

Mannie! Am I too late, the bean kept me home w/ all sorts of pokies today! I finally snuck out though and am ready to part uh, cook! -- Tess

Oh Mannie, you are oh so close to dabbling those paddy paws in blue, you can do it!
