Rainbow Kitty was back yesterday - I think we hit every color, short of that "color that shall not be named", we can pretend on that one. :lol: Mannie started the day out high, managed to recover throughout the day, finishing off with greens, and low blues. Well done Mannie! cat_pet_icon We are a low yellow this morning - can't wait to see what he has in store for us today. Mannie, your bean is ready!

Yesterday morning was a calm one.... no kitty alarm cock choir, no civvie whacking.... what a difference a day makes! :shock: :o :cool: :razz: :roll: :-D :-D This morning the kitty choir was in full force. Head singer BJ was bellowing in my ear, pawing at my face, 10 minutes before the alarm was to do its thing. Backup singers Mannie and Elsa were lined up at the foot of the bed, chiming in when they felt her efforts were falling short.... Shesshhhh! I could not serve fast enough for them.... in their impatience civvie whacking was running amuck. everybody was whacked. :shock: :shock: :roll: It was like watching a tennis match: staredown whack :cool: whack :twisted: staredown whack :shock: whack :twisted: staredown whack :o whack :twisted: staredown whack whack :twisted: omg..... fuds was served... calmness restored... civility reigns once again. :lol: :lol: :lol: ah yes...... all is well in MannieLand. We had a great test feed shoot, major face washing is in progress,napping to be resumed shortly. and the nanners? loved as always. I left him last night curled up on the top if the pile, all one could see was cat, and 6 nanner tips sticking from underneath all that fur. :cool: :cool: :razz: I have no clue why I did not take a photo..... :roll:

I had originally intended to go hiking today, changed my mind at the last minute here, 15 seconds ago... it is a holiday weekend, a huge hiking weekend for our area, and what with 75% of our trail system still inaccessible due to very late snow melt, that means all those hikers would be on the accessible one.... crowded!!!!!, and not what I go to hike for.... so... we will focus on the ocean today, and low tides, taking our waders and venturing on out into the sea. Life is good.

My friends!!! What a bash at Leo's last night - soooooooooooooooooooooo FUN!!!! we grilled and ate and ate and downed way too many of Gracie's Molson Moustinis... and the fireworks!!!!! YES!!!! We had to get ear plugs for Tess, but we gots her to stay and watch. They we da-bomb, and so pretty! What you guys wanna do today? Maybe a holiday beach cookout? Let me know - Mannie

Nice numbers for Mannie today! Don't blame you on avoiding the ride. Lots of people out spells possible problems. Glad to see that the kitty choir was in full force. Hope you have a great day!

Morning Melissa - yep, thing it was a good thing to delay, stay put. Gut says: crazy weekend out there. all the nuts will be out doing their thing. And thanks - great day so far, off to the shore and the low tides shortly.

Willie - dude!!!! let's hit the beach! We can build a bon fire, open pit BBG and grill - fun stuff! Oh yeah - bring your boogie board! My bean just got back from the tore... I oats all kinds of good grillin' stuff I can bring... SWEET! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, Sounds like a good day to relax and not hit the roads. We decided to do the same. So we'll work on our canoes, Edward will listen to the opera, and I'll watch the Mets-Yankees game and the re-run of the first day of the Tour de France. The farmers' market was jumping this morning, and there was a kiddie parade that held up lots of traffic. The village was a madhouse.

Hi Ella - yep, I think I made a wise choice... as much as I had wanted to go. probably just as well. Mannie has gone mid green, and a least this way I can fed LC stuff, and don't have to carb him up. I have got to remember the Tour - I love that race, I hope to catch it later today. Last year it was rerun at 5:30 our time, prefect time slot for me, so I hope it is the same this year. --- omg!, on the village - I can only imagine: yes: a good day to stay at home.... I am sure when I go to the shore today it also will be a madhouse.

OMG, look what I've missed. Go Mannie. He is really on a roll. Yes, today was a good day to stay home. I got out for a nice casual breakfast with my friend, and it's crazy just with the traffic. Can't wait to see what's next with the Mannie! Enjoyed their morning routine with the civvie whacking back and forth.

I fed the pmps with a 8% LC/MC food... time will tell if that was a good judgment call or not....
ETA: 182 @ +1 :shock: oh darn... fed this with a 3% LC.... guess we didn't need that 8%

Hi Celi - I love your photos - always so on target. And that would be an affirmative on the DGS - I am sure he will be a water kid too. I've been taking him on small hikes, alot of ocean stuff - he just loves the water - fascinated by waves, streams etc: anything that moves.

Hi Tena - omg!! on that video... I love it. The eldest here likes the water too. She will sit in puddles that are a couple of inches deep, used to sit on the edge of the bathtub, dangled her tail in the water, I can water plants and water her too - but she's never gone that far though. :lol: :lol: and so true on which one of us: Mannie or me is the wader and the surfer.... I strongly suspect that Mannie gets the surfer title. I so totally suck... :roll: :lol:

I can't remember now what I was looking at, but that was mentioned, along with some photos. very nice place! There area many times I will take beautiful over difficult. I took DGS to Deception Pass here last FR - same thing, nothing difficult at all, but beautiful? omg - unreal views!

Mannie is really doing really great!! Happy to see that he is doing sooooo well..
I'd love to hike to a Falls anywhere.. Traffic is bad here with the tourists..so anywhere peaceful is good.

Hi Roni - I know... me too! I would have loved to have hiked to a falls today... traffic was just the pits, so I stayed home. The sound/ocean shoreline is a coupled of miles from my house, so I just went there. Nice!, but even that was packed. ohmygod_smile

Mannie's having his own blue surf today!!! I really wish Champ had picked tonight to remain blue, but the DD will be home soon and is picking up some burgers for us to munch on while we see how this goes tonight!! Nothing like late night burgers to make staying up not seem so bad!!!
