7/2 Leo AMPS 94, PMPS 88, +3 100, +4 88

But Goooooood Morning LL!

Well Leo woke me up pretty much every hour on the hour last night, either to yell in my face or just to get some hugs and snuggles under the blankets. First it was 3:00 then it was 3:30 then 4:30, 5:30 etc etc. so needless to say I'm back in bed. Naughty kitty knows when his bean had a few too many beverages last night :lol: So first sitting of breffis done, wash-up in progress and he's back in his kitty bed too.

So went to a friends for a Canada Day party and he lives close to where there is a fireworks show every year for Canada Day, it was awesome, must have lasted close to 45 minutes or so. 2 thumbs up!!

Kitties could see the fireworks too from my place so it was a great fish feast/Canada Day for Leo and friends!

ohmygod_smile on the wake-up calls! and I thought my kitty choir was bad.... Leo - you win! I am glad thought that you could btb! It sounds like the festivities last night we great.

And very nice numbers for Leo - I love to see green kitties. YAY!!!

Leo - that party last night was da-bomb! We all had such a good time. We are going to the beach today to hang out, surf the waves, grill over a bonfire. I hope you can come!! ~~Mannie

Leo is looking just incredible. I'm so happy for you, Tracy. Your folks are doing wonderful with him as are you.

OMG i am a very bad momma!!!

From looking at Leo's SS last week when my parents had him, i assumed his nadir was either +3 or +4, i never thought he would dive down on me at +6. He woke up at exactly +6 and was hungry, so he ate the rest of his breffis, was still hungry so i gave him a tablespoon of Wellness Beef and Chicken, then i notice he's acting very owly, very strange, bellowing and still starving, so i test him 30 minutes after he eats all that food and he's 52!!! YIKES nailbite_smile :shock: Now i know he was waaaaaay lower than that, and i shoulda tested him at +6, (stupid me!) but that food had 30 minutes to kick in..........do i consider this another dose reduction, even tho i didn't actually catch <50??????

He was still starving so i just gave him 2 tablespoons of 15% FF elegant medley, and hopefully that brings him up even more......lesson learned for Tracy, always test Leo's +6!!!

Champ used to nadir at +3 or +4, but now it's +6 or later, especially at night when I need to sleep!! Unfortunately, their nadirs can shift at will....and usually do!!

I'm glad you had fun last night!! I need a few adult beverages myself!!

Beautiful numbers for Leo today!! Glad you had fun at your party. Too many adult beverages are good for all of us every now and then. Tarragon had a blast at the party. He thinks Canadians rock!!!

I ended up not giving Leo a reduction tonight, we shall see what tonight brings. He's been resting his kitty bones all afternoon, snoozing off and on and just generally being silly. His legs are starting to get a wee bit better, I noticed it right as soon as I picked him up yesterday.

And Patty (since you asked yesterday) I'll ask my dad if he wouldn't mind running a Cat Diabetes Camp, where you can send your kitty to get reductions, mousing and plenty of outdoor exercise! :lol:
