Day 4 OTJ Trial, Zac's AM BG is 72. PM BG 99
I let DH sleep in and tested and fed this morning. Usually I test, he prepares food and shot.
I must have done something wrong with the food, they all think they did nit get enough.
This morning was chicken and tuna. The girls got Soulistic Double Happiness, Zack got BFF, same.
Lots of catter chatter, and purring.
As a treat later this morning they will get 1 oz. of raw goat milk. The holistic pet food person claims this is very good for them. So far they are enthralled.
She sold me a supplement to add to Zack's food to help lower the ph of his urine to avoid the issue of struvite crystals in his urine. Called Biotic ph. I intend to post a query on the main page. To ask if anyone else has tried this. I am reluctant to change much at a time.
The Goats milk has been a great addition, and no bad side effects. She says that it lowered her diabetic cats BG. We just started that Monday, so I cannot give the milk credit for the great leaps and bounds Zack has made. That has been the removal of the dry food, and the lower of the low carb canned cat foods.
And don't forget the freeze dried treats.
We have been buying Pure Bites freeze dried chicken and Turkey freeze dried treats. They were hit or miss.
I picked up Great life freeze dried meats (Chicken Breast) from the holistic shop. It has a photo of a dog on it. I was told it is either cat or dog. And they would love it.
They do! Way more excited than for the other ones, and these do not fall apart like the others. Bigger bag, pieces, better price.
